Healing Hearts

Sea's heart swelled with a mixture of emotions—relief, love, and a tinge of embarrassment for having jumped to conclusions. He looked up at Jimmy, his voice barely a whisper. "I... I thought you didn't like me."

Jimmy's expression softened further, and he pulled Sea into a tight embrace. "I've always wanted you, Sea. Only you."

Sea buried his face in Jimmy's chest, feeling the warmth and steady beat of his heart. The weight of all his fears and doubts seemed to melt away in Jimmy's arms. He took a deep breath, savoring the comfort and security of being held by the person he loved most.

"I was terrified," Sea confessed, his voice muffled against Jimmy's chest. "When I saw you with that woman, I thought I had lost you forever. I went home, and my parents told me they were sending me abroad for my studies. Everything felt like it was spinning out of control, and I didn't know how to cope. That night, I showed up at your house, drunk and desperate, and things got complicated between us. I feared you'd feel guilty for what happened, so I chose to leave with my parents."

Jimmy held Sea tightly, planting a soft kiss on the top of Sea's head. "I woke up and you were gone, leaving me a note saying it was all a mistake," he murmured, his voice heavy with remorse.

"I never meant to hurt you. I didn't realize how much you misunderstood. I should have told you sooner that I love you, Sea." Jimmy's heart ached as he recalled the pain Sea had endured alone. 

Gently lifting Sea's chin, their eyes met in a tender gaze. "I'm so sorry, Sea," he whispered, brushing away a tear from Sea's cheek with his thumb. "If only I had known... I would have done anything to make you understand how much you mean to me."

Sea looked up at Jimmy, the vulnerability in Jimmy's eyes mirroring his own. "Hia..." he began, his voice thick with emotion. "I should have trusted you. I should have stayed and talked things through instead of running away."

Jimmy nodded, his thumb gently tracing Sea's cheekbone. "We both made mistakes, Sea. But we found each other again. That's what matters now."

Sea nodded slowly, his heart lighter knowing that Jimmy still loved him despite everything. "I love you, Hia," he whispered, the words carrying a weight of sincerity and relief.

Jimmy's eyes shimmered with unshed tears of happiness. "I love you too, Sea," he replied softly, his voice filled with warmth and tenderness.

They held each other close, finding solace and reassurance in each other's arms. The past misunderstandings and pain seemed distant now, overshadowed by the strength of their love and the promise of a new beginning.

As the morning sun continued to rise outside the window, casting golden rays into the room, Jimmy and Sea stayed intertwined, their hearts beating as one. They knew there would be challenges ahead, but together, they were ready to face whatever the future held, hand in hand, with a newfound understanding and deep, abiding love.
