Year 850
After three years of training in the corps, soldiers learn the skills they need to take on the Titans. Upon graduation after all the grueling training, they are to be assigned to one of three regiments.
The MP's (military Police), charged with maintaining law and order among the population and serving directly under the king.
The Garrison, charged with reinforcing the walls, and protecting the territory within them.
And the Scout regiment (survey corps), those who venture beyond the safety of the Walls into Titan territory.
Most hope for the relative comfort of the Military Police Regiment, but only the top ten graduates are given the luxury to choose
You, obviously, also made it through the three hard years of training. On the evening of the graduation ceremony, you too waited with your fellow trainees to hear the final grades they'd each been awarded.
Graduation Ceremony
You were in the ceremony with Krista on your left side and Ymir on your right. When Shadis came, all of you saluted.
Shadis: I will now announce the top ten graduates... Step forward when your name is called!
Then he said the list:
10th: Krista Lenz!
9th: Sasha Braus!
8th: Connie Springer!
7th: Jean Kirstein!
6th: Eren Jeager!
5th: Annie Leonhart!
4th: (y/n)!
3rd: Bertholdt Hoover!
2nd: Reiner Braun!
1st: Mikasa Ackerman!

Shadis: However, these results are based on scores during training! Whether you can put your skills to use in an actual battle is another matter altogether! Those of you who didn't rank should think long and hard. What can you do? What should you try yo achieve!? Tomorrow you'll be asked which Regiment you'd like to be assigned to! The 104th Cadet Corps is hereby disbanded! That is all!
At night...
All of the 104th cadets were having dinner chilling. Like all days, you were eating with Ymir and Krista.
(y/n): Man... I really though you'd graduate in the top ten, Ymir! If you tried harder in training, you would surely reach the top five easily!
Ymir: Yeah... Tell me about it. At least Krista graduated in the top ten
(y/n): Thats right! Well done Krista, knew you could do it *petting her head*
Krista blushed, and said:
Krista: But... I think I don't deserve the place, I know that, for example, Ymir was better than me in every aspect...
