Heads up!
There are mentions of religion. Uncle Ludovico and Gio's mom were/are Christian, catholic to be exact. I'm not catholic so please correct me if I'm ever wrong about anything

Carlos ended up finishing the race at third place which meant he was on the podium. Giovanna was new to everything so the social media manager had to guide her to the outside of the garage but only after getting a few pictures for the socials.
She couldn't suppress the smile on her face as she watched Carlos walk onto the podium to receive his trophy.
She was so proud.
An overwhelming sense of happiness filled Carlos. He looked down at his team with a smile which grew larger at the sight of his girlfriend.
The Dutch anthem played loudly on the speakers yet Giovanna could only focus on look on Carlos' face. If this was how the Grand Prix's were, she wanted to go to every single one.
But that wouldn't be possible. She would not be able to go to the Australian one since she had a meeting with an estate agent which she couldn't miss. Giovanna had decided to rent out the apartment while she moved back to South Africa.
Her uncle, Ludovico left all of his estates to her and her and her mother, which included the apartment (Giovanna's) and a vacation house in Sicily (her mother's).
And they didn't want to sell them so instead, her mom had the house rented out and now, Gio was doing the same with the apartment.
A few hours later, Giovanna sadly glanced out of the window of hotel onto the full moon. It had been close to two hours since she payed and thanked Amina before sending her on her way.
The sound of footsteps disrupted her train of thought. She turned to see Carlos walking into the lounge with Liema in his arms. "You sure you can't stay another day?" He asked walking up to Gio.
"You know I wish I could but I have the meeting with the agent, the sessions with Mark and my mom is coming. If I could I would." She smiled sadly.
"I know but-"
Giovanna cut him off with a kiss. And just like that, Carlos forgot what he was going to say. "Go have fun with your friends in Australia; go golfing, go to the beach or clubbing. The two weeks will be over before you know it."
"I'm going to miss you." He muttered.
"We're going to miss you too."
And with that, Giovanna found herself at airport in the first class lounge. Liema was strapped to her chest, sleeping while Gio worked on her computer.
She was revisiting the old music she and her producer-friend, Mark, had made in the past, four years ago. She was nineteen at the time and not really good at songwriting. The only thing that worked well was her voice and the instrumental.
Oh, she grimaced. What are these lyrics?
Giovanna was glad she improved on her songwriting skills because those lyrics were atrocious. She'd always wondered why they never released the songs but now, she knew why.
Okay so, they all need rewriting, some maybe scrapping but I have hope. If I write some new ones or look in my notebook, I could make an album. Gio thought to herself biting her lips to hide her smile.
