Kidnapped at age 15

Chapter 8

Britt's pov

"GOD DAMN IT!" I screamed as loud as I could. I tilted my head back and banged it on the back of the trunk. "how did we forget about those?" I asked looking around in the darkness but I did find Alex with the little bit of light that was coming thru the sides of the trunk door every now and then.

"I thought they removed those in the hospital" Max said next to me.

"Wait.. so you remembered the stupid trackers and didn't even remind us of them?" Alex asked sounding irritated.

"Yes I did but when they did the x-rays and stuff, I thought they removed them because nothing ever came up on the scan and they never said anything about it."

"You dumbass! You still should have said something! Maybe not to us but at least to a doctor!" Alex yelled at him.

"Alright! Alright! Calm down, the both of you! You guys always act like little fucking children and it needs to end! Max, yes it would have been a smart thing to do to tell someone about it and not just letting it slid-"

"HA!" Alex said tilting her head to the side in a cocky way.

"Alex! You need to calm down the most! The screaming and yelling needs to end, yes I understand the situation that we are in but your not helping" I said yelling a bit. "Now, find out a way to get out of here" I said whispering.

"OH! I've seen a movie where the girl knocked out the light to the car and stuck her hand out the hole and waved her arm around until she got someone's attention" Max said getting ready to start kicking at the corner of the trunk.

He gave it one good kick and nothing happened. He sighed before re adjusting himself and kicked the corner again but twice in a row. This time we all heard a crack and me and Alex eerged him to do it again. He kicked the cornor another good time and this time, the ligh came out and we could see outside.

"Yes!!" We all cried.

"Okay who has long arms? Sadly mine don't fit" Max said gripping onto his arm.

"I do" I said quietly.

Max moved out of the way and I layed on my stomach scooting closer to the hole and sticking my arm out. I moved a bit closer so my arm was fully dangling out the hole and I saw head lights on the road and I started waving my arm like crazy. I saw the headlights move behind the car that we were in and I just kept waving and waving.

"Do you see anything?" Alex asked.

"I saw headlights and they moved behind the car were in so I think they saw us but just in case I'm going to just keep waving until the car stops"

"Do you think you can open the hatch?" Max asked.

"I don't think I can reach that far"

"Try!" They both yelled at me.

I groaned and pulled out my arm and got on my side and put my arm back out reaching towards the handle to open the trunk. I could feel the medal pressing against my arm the more a stretched my arm and it did not feel good when it rubbed against my muscle.

"I cant do it" I said starting to cry. "My hand is close to the handle but I cant do it!"

"If its close you have to try Brittney, you don't want to go through this again, 10 years of the abuse from them. Try, you have to" Max explained to sounding like he was about the cry as well.

I kept trying to reach but I really couldn't. As I reached as far as I could I finally got my hand fully around the handle but the car turned really sharp making me let go and hit my head hard. I looked back out the hole and saw that we were now going onto a road where no cars were. I didn't see anything behind us. I got really scared and stuck my arm back out and did the same stretch I did a few seconds ago and my hand was wrapped around the handle. I pulled it and jiggled it until the hatch came open and I sat up.

The car was still moving pretty fast but we didn't care at the time so we all jumped. Max jumped first then Alex, and then me. I'm sure we all had a scrap on our knees and arms from the jump onto the road but none of us cared as we all took off running into the woods.
