Kidnapped at age 15

Chapter 1

 

"the girls that have been missing for a decade have now been found and released from the hospital!"

 

"everyone has been questioning why the kidnapper took these girls at the age of 5 like every other child documented to have been kidnapped by them"

 

"Brittney and Alexis the girls of the decade, are scedualed for interviews to talk about their experience's and what really happened in this house for 10 years without anyone knowing"

 

"they went to school! Alexis Ryan went to the same school as her older brother Tyler Ryan!"

 

"the girls are now safe and at home with their real families and away from trouble"



"what will happen to these kids next?"

 

 

 

Thats all people talk about now. us. what we went through and what really happened. once we were reasled from the hospital reporters would not leave us alone. Britt would call me almost everyday crying because the reporters were scaring her so badly. I get nervous when they come around me I just stand there, frozen not knowing what to do or say. I'm talking on a regular bases though that's a plus. But there's also a down fall.. nightmares. They happen all the time and there always about Lizzie and I think she's going to come back again. I also picture max and Jacob abusing me and Britt... this all I dream about. Now that were back at school and everything to, I still day dream a lot and I have nightmares about Lizzie while day dreaming to. I scream out in the middle of class.. I just jump out of my seat and lay in the floor and run to a corner of the room yelling "STOP, STOP, GO AWAY". It's embarrassing but no one seems to really bully me about. Kids always talk about it in the halls but I don't really care. Another bad thing to... I'm cutting again.




Present time, 1 year later







Alex's pov





"Alex! can you please set the table for me.. I got a hand full" Britt said smiling at me and walking away with Jacob in her arms.



Yep. She named her baby boy Jacob. She said that's what she's always wanted to name him after max told her who the father was... I think its sweet and a good idea. I walked over to the counter that had all of the plates and food and set them around the table. I also grabbed the last balloon that was suppose to be tied onto the table. it had a baby mickey mouse on it, holding a big numer 1. I laughed at how cute it was, my mom was on balloon duty and she said she just had to get this one.



"looks nice.."



I turned around and saw Ryan standing there with his hands in his pockets while looking around Britt's living room. Shes 16 now by the way..



"yea, such a big party for such a tiny baby that's not even going to remember any of this" I laughed.

"well.. its Brittneys first child. i'm sure you'll be the same way when you have your first kid" Ryan said smiling big at me.



I rolled my eyes at him.




"yea soooo not going to happen my friend" I walked past him setting another thing of balloons on a mini table.


"and why not?"



I walked up behind a chair hung onto it while thinking..



"after what happened to me in my childhood.. I don't want that to happen to them, you know?"

"yeah.. it must be difficult having it to be that way"

"it is but who said I was going to even have any kids in the first place.."

"I don't know.. its a lot of girls' dreams"

"well sadly I'm not like other girls" I said walking away from the chair.

"I know.. and I really like that about you" Ryan said quietly.




I smiled to myself and kept walking into the kitchen. Ever since Britt got to know Ryan a little bit more and has seen the way he acts around me, she says he just TOTALLY is in love with me.. but I don't believe it. why would he like me anyway? I'm so messed up.




"ALEX! RYAN! COME ON!" I heard Britt yell from the backyard. 



The both of us ran outside to see Jacob sitting on the steps of the porch opening presents. I smiled at him while he stared at me and Ryan throwing around a box by the ribbon. Britt took it away from him and undid the bow letting him try to open the gift, and he did after 5 minutes of trying. He got a rubber duck that has his name written on the sides...



After Jacobs party was over everyone left but I stayed around the hang out a bit more. We just stayed in the living room watching tv.




"soooo did Ryan ask you out yet?" Britt asked winking at me.

I rolled my eyes and threw my head back laughing. "noo because its not going to happen" 

"cause its not gonna happen" Britt said copying me. "that's bullshit"

"there is a one year old sitting right there!" I screamed at her.

"he's fine.. he doesn't know"

"yeah until he repeats it"



She shook her head at me and turned towards the tv.



"do you think you can spend the night here?"



I looked over at her and nodded my head. she clapped loudly and started to do a happy dance in her seat. I laughed at her and continued to watch the movie that was on.



"alright, I'm going to go put Jacob to bed real quick soo I will b.r.b"

"ook then"



Britt picked a tired looking Jacob up and took him upstairs to put him to bed. I looked around for the remote to change the channel when the door bell rang. I stared at the door not knowing if I should get up and answer it or just stay and wait for Britt to come back down.



"Alex can you get that!" I heard Britt yell from upstairs.

"uum-um y-yeah"




I stood up from the couch and walked over to the door slowly. it rung again and I put my hand on the door handle. I turned it slowly but once it was fully turned, I swung it open quickly. I paused in surprise at who it was and it made me nervous staring at their face.



"hey who's at the-"



Britt walked down the stairs and stopped in her place surprised to.



"max?"
