Chapter Four

"Why is it that when you most need a person they never, never pick up the freaking phone! I mean great!" I kicked the dustbin in the girl's bathroom, Arghhh! Clearly first sign of insanity, when you notice that you are talking to your self!

I turned the tap on and splashed some water on my face, I felt that my hands were trembling as I dried them with a tissue.

It was then I felt as if someone was watching me, I turned around and found Dawn looking at me intently, "You alright?" she asked.

It was time to pull an act, I thought to my self. Great! I really am overusing the sarcasm.

I laughed at her question, "Course. Why shouldn't I?"

"Well... the way in which you left the lunch room clearly showed that something was bothering you. Sorry I shouldn't be bothering you about this. Oh! By the way I'm Dawn Medicci." she smiled.

I laughed softly, "Alisa Moretti, nice to meet you Dawn."

"Ooo! It's my pleasure." Suddenly out of nowhere she began jumping up and down. She really seems happy, I guess.

"Well I got to go to class. I guess I'll see you." As I made my way out of the bathroom I couldn't help but turn around and take another look at her. But she was already gone.

Spanish is one of those classes in which you just sleep for the entire class during the whole year, because there is no need for you to study. I mean my parents were Spanish, and I will just have to spend the entire year in the beginner's class, and all because they won't let me have individual classes. Humph!

Ms. Sanchez was talking to the class as I entered.

"Oh! Alisa, ven presentate a la clase." (Oh! Alisa come and introduce yourself to the class.)

"Right." I grumbled. "Me llamo Alisa Moretti, mmm... soy nueva, y como que me gustaria saber cual es mi sitio." I said something like, - My name is Alisa Moretti, mmm... I'm new, and I would like to know where I'm supposed to sit.-

Ms. Sanchez grinned and pointed to the last table of the class, the one that was have covered by a drawer.

I made my way towards my seat, but stopped when I saw someone occupying the seat next to mine. The person was engrossed in a book, and I doubt he even noticed I was in front of him.

"Hey!" I greeted,

He looked up from his book, and his violet eyes widened as he noticed who I was, *gulps* ... Ian.

"Oops! Sorry..." I slurred, "never mind." I was about to open my book when I saw out of the corner of my eye, how he shook his head and smiled at me.

I liked how he smiles. His smile was able to make him look caring, it also softend his expression turning them into angelic features...No wonder Ashley was all over him. He really is gorgeous! I mentally slapped my self, for letting my subconscious go that far.

"Hey, I'm Ian, I finally get to introduce my self properly." He grinned a lopsided smile.

"Alisa." I gave him a brief smile and turned back to pull my things out of my bag, I opened my sketch book and began drawing circles all over the place.

We were silent for a long time, I was actually concerned he might have fallen asleep.

"So... do you like it here so far?" he asked trying to start a conversation, he was the first person in the entire day that had asked me about how I felt here. In a way I felt grateful for him.
