Chapter Twelve

"Vampire." The word burned my tongue as I said it. The one creature I hate the most, they are all filthy blood suckers... all of them.

I stirred in bed and turned and grabbed the notepad and pen resting timidly on my night table.

Without thinking I began drawing Ian's profile from my dream, his smooth and flawless skin was able to still appear beautiful even though it was set in a menacing expression.

His eyes were big, with the pupil dilated and colored black, not letting any purple be seen. I moved my pen over the page giving texture to his brow and cheeks, the sketching turning rougher and wilder with every stroke.

My hand travelled over the page, with sudden jerks and turns, the tip of the pen pressing with enough pressure, giving expression, toning effects.

My hand jerked backwards as I began drawing his fangs, two long canines set in both corners of the mouth.

I tossed the sketch into my bag and walked slowly towards the kitchen. It was seven thirty, Noelle was about to wake up and somehow I had to explain to her what I knew about the Medicci's.

As I drank my orange juice realization hit me and in that instance I recalled the night of my dream, when a clan of vampires leadered by Cahil was persecuting me.

That night trying to safe Nathan and myself, the necklace turned blue while it was casting the protective enchantment. The same colored it turns every time I'm in class with Ian, meaning that on its own accord the necklace was protecting me.

"You are up early today." Noelle came into the kitchen loading the toaster with two loafs of bread.

I managed to control my voice in order for it to sound normal. "Yes I couldn't sleep anymore."

"Remember you have to pack all your things in order to have them ready for you to take on Monday."

I shuddered. "Perfect Noelle, I'll have it ready." I jumped of the stool and made my way towards the stairs.

I was nervous as I searched through my closet, how would I act in school today? Should I even talk to them? Confused I picked up my bag from the floor and threw it over my shoulder, making my way towards my car.

I was cruising through Main Street when I felt my phone buzz from my bag pocket. I was about to reach out for it when a motorcycle cut in front of me making me lose hold of the stirring wheel.

I was fuming by now, and I could of sworn smoke was coming out of my ears. "Hey you prick watch were you're going!" I yelled. I maneuvered the car to the side of the road and parked just to see motor-psycho walking towards me.

"If I were you honey, I'd control my temper." He smirked, and just as he was about to slide his filthy hand through the open window and pressed the ignition.

"Well, if I were you I'd control your needs moron." With that I slammed the accelerator and drive off, leaving motor-psycho standing in the middle of the street with a pissed off expression.

I was reaching the school, when I flipped open the phone in order to see the cause of my little talk with the jerk.

Hope to see you at school!! xD And start thinking on each and every detail of yours and Ian's talk yesterday!! xxx - Mandy
