{The Spot?} (Part twenty six)

The last few days were like a rollercoaster. It was like I didn't even know what was happening. Miles told me to go and live with him in his house, with his mom and uncle. I missed my parents even more everyday, and I couldn't stop thinking about them. Mrs. Morales gave me my own room, and I quitted school for a few weeks. I even didn't try to sneak out of the house to do my job as SpiderSky. I sighed, and rolled over, to my stomach, as I held my pillow tight. I felt so empty, without my parents into my life. Miles would walk into my room, and looked at me, with a soft gaze. "Autumn?" He asked, and looked at me with a sad look. I just turned around, and closed my eyes. I said: "What...?" My voice was crumbly and husky. He layed next to me, and putted an arm around my body. He kissed my hair softly. "Uncle Aaron and I have to do something. My mom is at work, so you're alone for a bit." I nod my head. "Okay, dear..." My voice still sounded very husky and shaky. "Don't try to think about your parents, they are gone..." He said with a loving tone.

I just ignored his words, and continued hugging my pillow. "I'm here to hug too, y'know." He would say with a pout. But I know he wasn't for real. I looked at him with a glare that said: 'Can you leave me alone?' He sighed and got up from the bed. "You can always call me, if there's something wrong, okay?" He walked towards the doorway. "Oh, and Autumn?" I looked up at him. "We need a quality-time evening, I can feel your negative aura, and as your boyfriend, I have to prevent that from spreading." I smiled softly. Sometimes, he would be stupid as boyfriend. "Fine...But when?" I asked. He smiled at me once again. "Tonight, I'll make you feel good." I rolled my eyes. "Please, I don't want to have sex right now..." He chuckled. "I don't want to have sex with you, Autumn...Not in this state, because you're fragile and you need to be held by someone." I was glad he wasn't forcing me to do anything against my will.

"Miles, I love you." Miles walked out of the room, his head still peaking out of the doorway. "I love you too, my everything." He gave me an airkiss. "I have to go, my love. See you at diner tonight." He would speak, and walk away. I was officially alone again. I looked around, as I tried to think what to do. I walked to the livingroom, since it was one apartment and the same floor. I grabbed a glass and filled it with water. I drank it in one complete sip. I got a text message of Miles. "I want to cuddle with you all night." I smiled softly at his text. I would reply: "First your job, then cuddling." I texted. I knew Miles and his uncle, Aaron had some unfinished job.

I suddenly thought about my role as the SpiderSky. Maybe this was the perfect time to do patrol. I get to my room again, and dressed up as SpiderSky. I opened the window, and swung away. I heard the police sirens far away. So I got there to inspect. I saw a few man robbing a jewerly shop. "Hey, can y'all not??" I yelled at them. They immedaitely looked at me, and I quickly kicked one of them. "Ow, seriously, Spiderpunk??" The boy yelled. He grabbed my arm and swung me against the wall.

"Don't touch her, she's mine." It was The Prowler's voice. He walked towards me. "What are you doing here?" He asked me with a firm and cold tone. I just stared at his mask through my big glasses. "I could ask the same of you. "Listen, I don't know how you knew I had some bussiness here, but you better not tell anyone." I rolled my eyes. "I won't, don't worry, big boy." I joked. He punched me in the face. "I hate you!" He yelled, and walked away frustrated. Then, to my surprise, I saw Aaron, the uncle of Miles.

Why was Aaron here... Did this mean that... Miles was here too? I started to look around immedaitely. But no recognizion of my boyfriend. "Why is Aaron Davis here?" I suddenly asked out of the blue. The Prowler looked at me over his shoulder. "Why should I tell you, punk? Get lost." He scoffed. "Whoah, whoah. Is Miles Morales here too?" I started to get worried. I saw Aaron raising an eyebrow. "Why would you concern over my cousin?" He grabbed my arm tightly. "Because I know Autumn. She told me about a lot." I noticed how The Prowler started to get angry. "Prowler, easy with the gear-"
