Chapter 32 : Your father is going to kill me

Let’s catch up, shall we ? I had a nice reunion with my girlfriend, but good things never last here.The ground started shaking, more like all New Orleans, because Hope, Niklaus, and I were in the same place. I could hear all the Mikaelsons shouting at each other to find a solution, so I let them, and went upstairs to go find Hope. She was into her bedroom pacing, I entered, closing the door behind me.

“You okay, Little one ? I asked softly.
- Appart from being the reason our family and New Orleans is going to burn. I'm perfectly fine, she snapped at me.
- Hope look at me, I said sofly.
- I’m sorry Aunty Y/n… I didn't mean to snap at you…she apologized sitting next to me on the bed.
- It’s okay, you’re just a teen Hope, the world doesn’t have to rest on your shoulder neither is the fate of our family.
- But we need to find a way and quick or you and Dad will have to leave again… Freya and Mom were devastated when you left, and so was I… You basically raised me all my childhood.
- We’ll find something. I promise, always…
- And forever, she finished. What if I have a way ? She asked with a hint of insecurity in her eyes.
- I assume it’s a “don’t tell anyone” kinda way or you would already be downstairs.
- It is. But it’s not as bad as it sounds… Look I take all of the Hollow into me, so we can all be together again and it will help us find a way faster if we stop worrying about each other's and people’s safety.
- No. Hope, you’re crazy. You can’t take all that into you. Niklaus and I almost ripped people appart when the Hollow was into our heads. I can’t let you take it. I’ll do it, or your father, but I won’t let you, I said a bit sternly.
- You know it as to be me, I’m a Labonair, a first born and the first Tribrid. I’m the most powerful of all of us, she pleaded.
- You’re too young, it could kill you…
- It won’t. I know I can take it. And I’ll do it with or without your help, she said determinedly.
- Fine, but let me help you. We can put all the family into a chambre de chasse so while they’re all connected, I can help you do the spell to take the Hollow into you.
- You’ll have to be into the chambre too, or it will be suspicious.
- Your father is so going to kill me, I sighed. Okay let’s prepare that spell. And Hope if anything goes wrong you stop and you take me out. Understand ?
- I will don’t worry, she smiled a bit.
- Take this, I said, giving her one of my bracelets and casting a spell. This will protect your mind from the Hollow when you take everything. At least diminished the voice, don’t take it off unless something happenes. And you tell me everything, got it ?
- Thank you for helping me, she answered, hugging me. I’m glad you're on my side.
- We’re all on our side, I said softly, kissing her forehead before standing up. We got a spell to do.”

We started preparing the spell into her room, I drew the pentagram of the floor and gave her all the instructions. I gave her an object that represented each of the Mikaelsons, Hayley and I. Finally when she was ready, I told her to wait ten minutes and went downstairs.

“Can you all please stop yelling, I sighed at the Mikaelsons.
- We're talking about my daughter's safety, I'll yell if I want to ! Klaus said angry and anxious.
- Yeah well right now you're being so loud that's she pacing into her room. I had to help her sleep with a spell. You think I don't feel it too ? This aching feeling in my head because we're all together ? Trust me it hurts like hell, but I'm not whining, I'm actually trying calmly to find a solution, I answered sternly.
- Is she okay ? Hayley asked worriedly.
- She'll be fine, she's sleeping, I said looking at my watch, the 10 minutes were over. Just all of you sit down and let's take a breath, what do we have for now as a lead ?”

As soon as I finished my words, I felt the spell hit me.

I opened my eyes into the Mikaelsons compound, but I knew it was the chambre de chasse.

“Bloody Hell. We can't have a minute of peace ? I heard Kol's voice entering the patio.
- Not so dead Davina's boyfriend, how are you doing ? I asked, smiling.
- Well I was for Davina for… activities and I was pulled out here. Chambre de chasse, I assume.
- You assume well brother, Freya said entering the patio with the rest of them.
- And Kol, no need to go into details about what you and Davina were going to do, I cringed a bit at the image of my best friend and Kol that appeared in my head.
- Sorry…He mumbled.
- As much as your banter is funny, Darling, we got a bit of an urgent situation with this… she said pointing around us.
- I think I found our wait out, I cut her showing the door with locks. One lock per person, you think we got to find the keys ?
- Great, a treasure hunt ? My daughter is suffering and someone sent us to this ? He said losing his temper.
- Let’s focus here brother, the fastest we find them, the fastest we leave this chamber.
- Then let's start searching, I added. Nice to see you again Marcel, I hugged him when they all started to walk away.
- I missed you too, Siphoner. ”

Everyone started searching while I talked with Marcel. We started looking for the keys together, honestly I had a pretty good idea what the keys were supposed to be. Something that represents each of us but I needed to give Hope time, so I played dumb.
Hayley found her key first, behind a picture of our family.

“ You think it’s related to us ? Kol asked.
- Wouldn't hurt to try, Elijah answered.”

I found my key next, it was into my motorcycle helmet. I smiled softly at the memory of Hope and I, she loved that thing. When it was just her, Hayley and I, I would take her a lot to make some tours. I promised myself after that mess was done that I would do it again.

I inserted my key into the door.

“I didn't know you had a motorbike, Kol said.
- Because you never saw it, I  chuclked.
- I want to, he pouted playfully. Who knows about it ?
- Hayley and Hope why ? Some of yours siblings might have seen it in after I saved your ass from Marcel’s bite.”

I didn't know but I just walked right into what Kol wanted me to admit. The only witches that know about this was Hope and I. Which means one of us did the spell.

“She's going to take it all ? Isn't she ? Kol asked making everyone confused. Only you and her know about the bike, he explained.
- Yes, she's going to, I answered bitterly.
- What ? Hope is going to take all the Hollow ?! Rebekah said sending a death glare at me.
- She was going to do it with or without me. She needed someone to lean on and if it meant all of you being mad at me I can take it.
- She's just a teen ! Klaus yelled.
- Don't you think I know that ! I snapped. She feels like no one is on her side, like she's destroying our family ! I had to do something, even if it's not the best choice, it was the only one we had, I said sternly.
- Do you even care about her ? Klaus asked, still angry.
- Klaus…Hayley and Freya said seeing the look on my face of pure hurt and betrayal.
- You're kidding right ? I said angry. I was there all of her childhood while you were all dying from Marcel's bite. I played with her when she felt lonely, I held her when she was sad. I would burn my world for Hope. Hell, I did ! I left the woman I loved and the one I considered my sister for her to be safe. So don't you dare say I don't care about her ! Because I love her. I love her like she is my own fucking daughter ! So careful with what you say Niklaus, I finally snapped.”

Niklaus opened his mouth to say something but Hayley elbowed him to shut him up, which obviously made Kol laugh. Freya took my hand, rubbing her thumb around my palm to sooth me.

“Let’s just find the keys, Elijah said, trying to ease the obvious tension.”

A/N : Sorry for being late againnn but in my defense I had my last exam yesterday ! But it's officially over so I'll try to be one time now lol
