Armando's POV

I had to take care of some business this afternoon. I went out on my motorcycle and headed to the city.

Yeah i promised Mike that I would behave myself and will only do good. But this, I couldn't let it rest. Through Alina I knew what the cartels were up too. But of course I had my own ways to find those things out. I had some guys around here who gave me information. A few weeks ago one of my informants told me that an old cartel from Mexico earned their places back in the underworld. Apparently their leader, Gerald Gomez, was just as ruthless how I used to be and killed almost every cartel leader in Miami, to become the biggest one of them all. Even tho I stopped doing that shit a long time ago and wasn't the leader of the Aretas cartel anymore, he was still looking for me to put a bullet through my head. Rivalry between the Aretas and Gomez cartel have been going on for a long time. But it stopped as soon I got arrested. Now that I'm out of jail, a lot of drugdealers still see me as their competitor in that lifestyle. And that's why I'm taking care of some business once in a while.

A few weeks ago I did my first killing again after two years (not counting the ones I did when I was on the run with the detectives). One of Gomez's guys came for me. He attacked me in an alley. I could have just knocked him out and walk away. But the anger in me is something I can't control. When someone tries to touch me or anyone I love, they going down. And so I put him to the ground and shot a bullet through his head.

The same thing happend this evening. This time I was aware where Gomez's his guys would be, so I headed to their location. I waited a little bit further than their location till I saw them moving. I walked up to them and pretended to be just a normal stranger who accidentally bumped into one of them. "Hey watch where you're going dude." One of them said. "I think that you need to watch where you're walking." I said back. "What did you say dude?" I turned around to look at them. "I said that you need to watch where you're walking." I scoffed. One of the man was looking at me "I know you. You're Aretas. You escaped jail and now you're waisting your time on a discussing with me. That's not smart you know." He took a step closer to me. "Watch your back Aretas. Our boss wants you death. So think twice before you decide on having a big mouth." I laughed at them. Who did they think they were talking to?

"You laughing hu? Do I need to put my gun to your head and show you who you talking to hu?" The man said while grabbing his gun and pointing it directly at me. "You shouldn't have done that amigo." "What are you gonna to about it?" the man challenged me. So I showed him what Armando Aretas does when people try to threaten him. When both men pointed their guns at me, I went crazy. I grabbed the gun from the man on the right and shot the other one with it. But apparently the man whose gun I took had an another gun with him and directed it right at my face. Good for me I was fast enough to block his shot, but the bullet went straight through my leg. I grunted from the sharp pain it instantly gave me. He wasn't done with me yet and gave me a few punches in my face. Unfortunately for him, that only made me more angrier than I already was. I took the man's gun and held him by the throat. "You shouldn't have threatened me." I looked him death in the eye. But before I pulled the trigger on him, he said something which didn't really got to my attention at first. "She is his daughter and he will do anything to get revenge for what she did. Killing you is just him having fun." he said right before I shot him in the head. I watched him bleed out before I went on my motorcycle back to my house.

Because of all the adrenaline I forgot that there was a whole hole in my leg because of the bullet that went in it. I stopped somewhere at a gasstation and went looking for some pure alcohol. I grabbed the first bottle I saw and went to the toilets. As soon as I saw the toilets I went in and checked on my leg. I sat down and poured some alcohol on the shot wound. "AARGH". I wanted to shout from the burning pain, but I tried to hold it in. When the wound was disinfected I went straight in it with my fingers to pull the bullet out. There it was, one bullet fully covered in blood and some of my flesh. I flushed the bullet through the toilet and tried to walk back to my motorcycle. Because of that burning pain I couldn't walk that good. I stumbled to my motorcycle and drived away back to my house.

The whole ride I was thinking about what that guy said to me before I killed him. "She is his daughter" Who is his daughter? Did I know a woman who could be involved in this? Could it be Alina? No it couldn't be. I mean, she got here because of Mike, because he trusted her. She couldn't be a person that has dangerous backstories with the Gomez cartel. People trust her. But I do recognize her face from somewhere.
I saw Gerald once in Mexico for a drugdeal. I remember his cold look and the scar he had across his head. She has the same eyes as him. The same facial expressions. Could she really be related to Gomez?
I got mad at the thought that she didn't tell me she was related to him. And why didn't Mike tell me this? Does Mike know or does Rita? Is Alina working for him? Is she spying on me?

When I arrived home I saw the lights on in Alina her room. Good, I thought. I did not have to see her. I wouldn't even know how I would behave towards her with the knowledge of her being related to my rival.
When I entered the house, I heard Alina coming down. I tried to walk as fast as I could to the living area, but my leg did not let me, so I stumbled to the couch. Alina was calling for me. "Go away Alina." I told her. When I tried to move to the couch she walked towards me and I felt her presence behind me. I turned around to her and looked at her angry. I was mad that she was not telling the truth. I yelled at her and it made her step away from me. "What did you do Armando?" Alina asked me after seeing my bleeding leg. She did not have to know what I have been up to these days. "What does it look like to you Alina?" "Go away, don't make me ask you again." I told her with a harsh voice that made her listen.

When Alina was asleep I went upstairs to the bathroom to take a shower and to take care of my wounds. After that I tried to get some sleep. I did not regret yelling at Alina, I really didn't. But from the look on her face I could tell it shocked her a little bit. I felt a little bit sorry, but not enough to let her know. She deserved that. If she is planning on killing me the least I could have done to her is yelling at her. I turned around and closed my eyes.

I don't know how tomorrow is going to be, but I know that I will get the truth out of her, no matter what.

** note **

I did not have that much of inspiration for this chapter, but I do have it for the whole storyline.

Armando has a bad impression of Alina now, but that is going to change. Does he get it out of her, will he make her tell the truth, does somebody else tell him or does Alina tell it himself?

Hope you liked it so far :) byee
