8. Hospital

Alina's POV

I felt a sharp pain in my side. I heared loud nouises around me and an irritating peeping the whole time. As I opened my eyes I noticed the different environment I was in. I wasn't at the house where my dad was hiding. I was in the hospital. I rememberd being shot and that everything went black after that. I looked over to my right and noticed Armando sleeping on a chair. I did not expect to see him. I coughed. Armando was immediately awake and standing on the side of my bed. "Hey you're awake." "How long has it been?" "Two days. You were still sleeping from the narcoses after the surgery." Armando told me. "Where's Rita?" I asked. "She's getting some lunch. Should I go look for her?" "No, I have patience. You can stay here until she's back." I smiled at him. "Did you stay here the night?" "I stayed here since I brought you in. I told Rita and Mike that I didn't care to get a good sleep. Just wanted to make sure you're good." Armando said to me. "Oh really? You're being the hero now? Well thankyou." I said.

"Look who is awake." I heard Rita say. "Hi sweetie how are you?" She asked while hugging me. "Hii, I'm doing good. Just a little bit in pain. Could you ask for me id they can give me some more painkilling." I asked. "Yes ofcourse." She said while looking for a doctor. "Alina, I think I'm gonna go alright. If there's anything I can do just let me know." Armando said while laying his hand on mine. I felt a little butterfly in my stomach when he touched me. Or it was just the pain inside of me making me crazy every few seconds. "Yeah, yeah take some rest. Thank you for being here with me Armando." I gave him a smile before he walked out of the room. Rita came back with the nurse who gave me some more pain killing. "You know that he was the one that brought you in and he stayed here until you woke up." She said with a big smile. "Rita please put that smile away." I said with a little blush on my cheecks. "I think he just felt sorry for everything in LA and payed up by staying here." I said. "Yeah, that is probably his only reason." She said with a wink.

The doctor checked everything and told me I was good to go home on the condition that I got care 24/7 and that there was someone looking over me. Rita decided to take a break from work to take care of me. I did not agree with that, cause I could take care of myself, but she stood on it.

We arrived at Rita's house. She took me to my room. I noticed a lot of balloons and flowers when I entered. "These are all from Marcus and his family, Mike, Kelly and Dorn. And Armando gave you this." She showed me a cute little teddy bear with some flowers. "Hmm cute." I said and put the teddy on my nightstand.
"Do you need anything Lina?" "No, if you can help me to get in bed, I'll be good. Just want to get some rest." Rita helped me in bed and gave me a kiss on my forhead. "I will check on you in a few hours alright." I nodded.

While laying in bed I thought about what happend a few days ago. Everybody put themself at risk, I got shot and for what? My father escaped. All we wanted was to get him in jail. To make sure that I was save and that he wasn't going after Armando. I still wanted to put him behind bars. I didn't know how we could do that, but that was the only thing I wanted right now. When I'm fully recovered I will get him. I will be the one that is gonna take him down, I promised myself. And with that thought I felt asleep.
