Forest trees in my mind
Felt the grains of your scorching sand
Lost in the trees, while I unwind
Haze above the mysterious pond

You smile, and you torture the creatures
All crazy by this heaven-like sensation
Lifeless body, all sucked by leeches
A new feeling was your new creation

Predators make you their prey
Played nonchalant, so they leave you be
My broken limbs; your sky so gray
Tears had flown like the endless sea

Your heart's the trophy we desire
Bow and arrow they attempt to use
Not knowing you're covered in barbed wires
Another chance I decided to lose

They hunt you for your eyes
Shines like gems, and valuable as pride
You were unknowingly fed by lies
To fool you, was what they've tried

I'll watch you as I'm mesmerized
By the beauty of this isolated forest
The path to this, I'll always memorize
As I'll slowly become the loneliest

In the woods I've gone to
You left me black and blue
Trophy, gems, and pride will always be yours
Forest trees, and in the gray sky we soar
