I was there when he gave you wilted roses
I saw him as in your scarred heart he phases
Both of you fell into a frozen river
Somewhere where your love is just something greaterI saw him when he lit your candle inside
But it was extinguished by the ocean's tide
He gave you chances that he never should have
He took the beautiful soul's sixteen red scarvesHis rusted floorboards, and rusted nails gave bliss
Your blood tinted cheeks, and his lingering kiss
It wasn't long until it all disappeared
Everything that you'd built together adheredTwo-person party ended, you were alone
An arrow he threw shot you right through the bone
The silhouette of mine will be visible
Shake his head, did things that are sensible
