So... Custom Character it is then! Don't worry! The Established OCs, wherever they are won't go anywhere just yet (maybe slightly altered and different, especially D). Now that we are starting from scratch, let us determine the most inportant choice to start with:
A. Human (Recommended, obviously).
B. Youkai
C. God
Choose wisely, some Race options are more versatile them others. Personally, Sticking to a Human allows for more Creative Freedom as Youkai and Gods maybe hindered by your later choices. Howevwr Gods and Youkai especially thrive in Gensokyo and have the benefit of not being the bottom of the food chain since Gensokyo was made specifically for them.
Its all up to you though. Personally, you can never go wrong with an Underdog Story woth a Classic Human. But its your call at the end of the day... Isn't It?
