He ran away.

There was nothing else Yeonjun could do when reality broke down on him.

He ran as fast as his feet could possibly carry him, away from the headquarters, and towards the pet shelter, his only place of comfort.

Yoongi didn't even question anything when Yeonjun came storming inside, crying. He only pulled the younger yet taller male into an embrace, and listened to what the shaking figure in his arms had to tell him about the situation he had been plunged into.

"I-I don't wanna do this! I don't want to break Soobin's heart!" Yeonjun sobbed.

"Shh..."

Yoongi stroked his hair, holding him close.

"Please tell me it will be okay," the college student begged, pleadingly.

The pet shop owner sighed, knowing he will not like what he has to say.

"Yeonjun, it will be hard. But this time, you both have to sacrifice your relationship."

"Yoongi, you were the only person I could still—"

"I know that what I'm saying is the opposite of what you wanna hear Yeonjun," Yoongi cut in, silencing the younger. "I know you want me to tell you 'don't give in' or 'fight to stay together'. Up to this point, I've always admired you for wanting to do what you desired to do. Your parents expected you to success them as the next shareholding manager in Chaeboliom, and to study finances and other things a business manager would need. But instead, you decided to study animals and train to become a veterinarian."

"You don't need to tell me my sappy life story Hyung," Yeonjun said.

"Yeonjun, all your life, you've never taken up on someone's expectations. You've always put yourself before other people. In some aspects, you're independent, and in some other aspects, you're being selfish. If your parents would lose their position, or if Chaeboliom possibly failed, and the same could be said for Brambolia, what would you do? Let both businesses that were built with hard dedication down, or live your own life to the fullest?"

"This isn't what I came for."

The stubborn ravenette stood up and grabbed his bag, wiping his face as his back faced the other.

"Yeonjun."

He stopped in his steps, a cold hardened expression on his face as he didn't look at Yoongi.

"Every human needs to sacrifice one thing in their life. Go talk with Soobin; he deserves to know what's happening."

Yeonjun heard Yoongi leave the main room, and ultimately decided to leave too. Once he was outside of the pet shelter, he reached for my phone, and dialed a number.

["Hello Hyung!"] a happy voice chirped from the other side.

Needless to say, it broke Yeonjun's heart to hear him so happy.

Knowing what was about to happen.

"Hey Soob..."

["What's the matter? You rarely call me by my nickname, so I know that something is up."]

Yeonjun sighed.

"Soobin, meet me at our favorite park."

Yeonjun sat down by a bench, fiddling with his wallet. One of the pockets in it had a transparent folder, and in it was a picture of him and Soobin.

The latter's favorite picture of them, a camera film image of them in the sunset in front of the Ferris wheel.

Suddenly, he felt a weight being placed next to him. Yeonjun turned to his right to see Soobin sitting there, smiling with his lips sealed.
