Time passed by far to quickly for Yeonjun's liking.
Maybe because there wasn't so much that changed, less than he thought that it would.
Which was surprising to him per se.
But his life had pretty much remained the same.
He still attended classes as usual.
Once university was over, he would board the nearest public transport to travel to the pet shelter, spending his afternoons there.
And if he was hungry, Yeonjun would stop at a nearby food stand to buy something to eat, always generously thanking the people working and tending to the stands.
The only change was obvious.
He no longer woke up in his shared apartment.
Neither did he go home to fall into his boyfriend's arms and cuddle with him to sleep, for now he slept on an uncomfortable couch, as it felt wrong to sleep with another man in the same bed to whom his heart didn't belong to.
Yeonjun finished class for the day, and once the bell rang, he took his bag and exited the university campus.
He stopped by a bus stop, and checked Instagram.
Right on top was Soobin's story.
The ravenette clicked on it, seeing that he had reposted one of his posts onto his story for people to like it.
So of course he tapped on the post.

There were many pictures of Soobin with some of his friends, probably from college. Yeonjun could recognize some of them, but there were also people he's never met.
He probably found them after... after we parted ways.
Yeonjun didn't wan to say break up, because him and Soobin still love each other, and the only reason we parted was because of this stupid deal.
But... what if Soobin has already moved on? What if he has already forgotten about me and is meeting up with someone else? He looks... happy.
Yeonjun sighed.

Yeonjun exhaled again, and switched his phone off, putting it back into his pocket, just as the bus rumbled in, opening its doors to let him board and travel to the pet shelter once more.
