🎶: 'Right Where You Left Me' by eaJ and Hindia

Beomgyu didn't take the car this time.

Instead, he walked the entire ten kilometers back to the shared apartment, wanting to walk off all the emotional turmoil in his heart.

Can you blame him though?

In less than an hour, he was told that his parents lost their company, meaning he too lost his job as a model underneath their firm, that they have to leave the country, and because they're being tracked, and worst of all, he'll be leaving so many people dear to him.

And most of all, Yeonjun.

Beomgyu rang on the doorbell, not even bothering to take his keys out, senses numbed down by the dread of what reality brought him. A minute later, the door opened, revealing Yeonjun.

The older boy was rather shocked to see him.

"Beomgyu?!"

"Hey..."

Yeonjun let him inside, and after he shut the door, he let the storm off.

"Beomgyu, where were you?! I called your phone so many times, I even asked Hanbin and Zhanghao where you were, and no one could give me an answer!" Yeonjun exclaimed.

Beomgyu held his head low.

And Yeonjun then understood; something was really up.

"Beomgyu... did something happen—"

"Everything is gone," Beomgyu quietly said.

Yeonjun was worried.

"Beomgyu, what do you mean by 'everything is gone'?"

Beomgyu looked up at the older boy.

"Yeonjun... my parents... they... they lost their company. It went bankrupt."

It took Yeonjun a minute to click.

And once he did, a hand flew to his face.

"They what?!"

"They lost their job... and at the same time... I lost mine too."

"Oh god... how did this happen?!"

Why aren't you hugging me?

"A lot of things... one being because we held the marriage off for too long."

Yeonjun's eyes softened.

"Gyu..."

Beomgyu visibly flinched, eyes widening when Yeonjun wrapped both arms around him, squeezing him close to show him how sorry he felt.

"I... I don't think a simple apology is enough to console you right now."

And Beomgyu sensed why.

Both of them felt bad for this unfortunate circumstance, as they shared responsibility for it.

"My parents never told me Brambolia was struggling financially... until they were driven into bankruptcy and are now being tracked by people wanting money."

Yeonjun gasped.

"They're being tracked?!"

"Yeah. So... we need to leave."

The ravenette let go of Beomgyu, locking his hands on his shoulders, and for once, Beomgyu's mind and heart wished for the same thing: Yeonjun telling him don't go.

"What about the deal our parents had with each other? What's happening with that now?!" Yeonjun asked, only focusing on that.

Beomgyu bit his lip.
