ALEX P.O.V

As we rode away from the city, I looked out the window and look up at the sky seeing some black smoke. We almost died, I almost died all from a crazy doctor who gave up on the world and we lost one. Jacqui why? I glanced over at Carl, who was engaged in conversation with Glenn. I almost lost Carl I paused, then closed my eyes and sighed, clenching my hand into a fist as I felt a pain in my chest.
"Are you okay?" Carl asked
I opened my eyes and turned to face him then I looked down not answering
"Alex?" Carl said this time reaching his hand towards mine
"I'm... I'm fine" I spoke as I observed his hand cease its reach towards mine. " Don't stop...please" looking up into his baby blue eyes
Carl nodded, then he took my hand and moved closer until his right shoulder was pressed against my left. I closed my eyes, rested my head on his shoulder, took a deep breath, I never want Carl to die then sleep to envelop me.
~~~~~~~INSIDE OF ALEX'S DREAM~~~~~~
"COME ON WE GOT THE KID" a voice rang loud which caused me to snap my eyes open
"NO LET ME GO" I kicked and screamed as a man grabbed me out of my bed "MOM, DAD!"
"STOP MOVING" the man screamed which caused me to flinch and stop moving
"COME MAN I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE WHEN THEY GET BACK" another voice ranged
Which caused me to turn my head towards the other voice. Once I looked over there was two more people standing there with guns dressed in black. My hands were yanked forward causing me almost to fall forward.
"Hurry they are almost here" a softer voice coming from the shorter person
I felt something wrap around my wrists I snapped my head towards the man in front of me. I watched in fear as he wrapped rope around both my wrists forcing them together and I winced in pain as the rope got tighter and tighter.
"WHO ARE YOU? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?" I started screamed as the man begun to look for something "LET ME-" I was cut off by the man shoving a pair of my clean socks in my mouth.
"Shhhh" The man said as he placed his finger over his lips and grinned
"Shit" the soft voice said
"Number 4 what's wrong" The man said calmly without taking his eyes off me still smiling
" They are outside" Number 4 said
" WHAT?!" the person next to number 4 said as they walked to the window looking out "SHIT!"
"Calm down number 3" The man said standing up looking towards number 3
"But-Number 1" Number 3 said turning around with a scared look on his face
"Everything will be alright Numbers 2,5,6, and 7 are downstairs covering for us" he said turning his attention back towards me again
I started to step backwards then I bumped into something. I looked up and saw Number 4 looking down at me shaking her head. Before I could turn around to face her something hit my stomach which caused me to fall to my knees then falling on my side in pain.
As I tried to breath tears begun to come out my eyes then I was grabbed my hair and dragged to feet. I closed my eye as Number 1 then reached up and swung his hand towards my face and backhanded me so hard that I once again fell to the floor. I brought my hands up to my face and whipped my lip with the back of my hands and saw blood. I looked up at Number 1 as he then brought his fist down towards my face.

"NO!" I yelled, jumping to my feet and rapidly scanning my surroundings with wide eyes.
Once I realized that nobody was there, I sat back down and started to take deep breaths What was that? Who were those people and why did it feel so real? I am going to ask my parents I thought as I brought my finger to my lip, then wiped the sweat from my forehead with the back of my hand.
"Hey sweetie are you awake?" my mom asked as she walked on the RV
"Yeah...Mom " I said looking at her with a sad face
"What's wrong?" She asked as she walked towards me with a concerned look
"I'm scared" I said as a felt a throb in my throat
"Everything will be alright" she said as she sat down next to me
"How?" I asked " we have to worry about zombies but now other people as well? I mean I don't want to lose anybody else from the group especially Carl I-" I was interrupted by my mom hugging me
"Shh young one" She said with a soft voice
I tensed up in her arms as soon as shh left her lips making me remember Number 1 from my dream doing that same thing before hurting me. Should I tell her about the dream I had? Should I wait till Dad is here too? I don't know what to do
"Everything will be aright remember, we have your dad Rick, Shane, Daryl me and of course you to watch over the group and we are going to nowhere and if your ever in trouble just know that me and dad will stop at nothing to make sure your save and happy we love you my dear son" My mom said in a soft tone causing me to look up at her with tears in my eyes
"I love you too mom oh yeah I found a watch that looked like mine on a walker, but I lost it during the night when the walker came, and I have a dream about this people numbered one through seven and I -" I said looking at her
"I'll give you a few minutes, but the RV needs fixed and there is a lot of cars blocking us, so we got some time to walk around and search the cars I'll be outside waiting" Mom said interrupting me while playing with her fingers a bit
She smiled at me then wiped the tears out my eyes and bent down and kissed my forehead. Everything will be okay, nothing bad is going to happen to the group I'll make sure of it, and she reacted to me saying the people numbered between one through seven and maybe the watch I don't know but I intend to find out. I stepped back took a deep breath and nodded at her. She then turned around and walked towards the door of the RV turning back to look at me once again before walking off.
After a couple of minutes, I begun to walk to the door as I went to walk out, Carl opened the door which caused me to almost fall but I stopped myself by putting my hand on doorframe. I look up to see baby blue eyes staring at me as I stare back and smiled at him which caused his cheeks to go red.
"Come on let's go look around in the cars" I said as I grabbed his hand and walked out then leading him towards the cars.
