Alex P.O.V

We were close to the highway when we met up with Daryl, T-dog, and Glenn. They wanted to search more but I decided to head back to the RV to lay down because I was tired from doing all that running and searching.
Once I reached the highway Carol looked at me with pleading eyes and I shook my head no. I watched as she began to cry then Lori came up to her embracing her into a hug. I sent a sad smile her way before I continued to go towards the RV.
"Alex come here" my mother said standing next to my dad.
"Yes" I said as I walked over to them but looking for Carl.
"Let me see your watch" My dad said in a commanding voice which caused me to tense up and almost shove my right arm into my father's face What did I do wrong?
I watched as my dad looked around before tapping it with his watch which caused my watch ding. I looked over Mom who started to look at my watch then do the same thing as dad did.
"Is something wrong?" I asked while looking at my parents with a confused look.
"umm it nothing sweetie" My mom said looking at my father then to me with a half-smile.
"You know that I-" I said with a blank stare going to call her out on her bluff.
"The Club sent me a message and I'm transferring it to the both of you just now through your watches but it's going to take a full day for you both to receive it" he said looking down at me with a smile on his face while making a fist at his side.
Why is he lying? Why is she lying? I got to figure out what is on this watch? "What does this watch even do besides that?" I asked voicing my thoughts as I brought my wrist up to face to study the watch.
"Well, it could help ID if someone is from the Shadow Wolves or not, it could bring up a hologram of an area, it could be used as a way of listening to someone far away, if you're not able to use enhanced listening, but your watch is different a little bit" My mom said as she squats down in front of me.
"How so?" I asked lowing my arm to look at her.
"That is a story for another time" My dad said looking towards Rick and Daryl walking back from the woods.
My mom and I both looked over towards the group then she picked me up and we all three walked over towards the group. As we were walking over, I took the chance to look at my mother's watch to see my name with information about me.
"Those three walkers were on us. I had to draw them off it was her best chance" Rick said which caused me to look up him and everyone else.
"It sounds like he didn't have a choice Carol" Shane said with his raspy voice.
"How is she supposed to find her way back on her own she's just a child, she's just a child" Carol said trying to catch her breath and talk at the same time while looking at a Rick who is down on one knee.
"It was my only option the only choice I could make" Rick said as he looks up at Carol then to Lori who was sitting next to Carol trying to comfort her.
"I'm sure nobody got that" Shane said looking at Rick who looked at Shane then back to Carol
"My little girl got left in the woods" Carol said looking at Rick with anger.
Rick got up and walked away from her with Daryl and Shane following him. I put my head down on my mom's shoulder and the last thing I seen was the shadows of the trees before my eyes shut close.
