"Shit!"

"No Lana. We don't say that!"

"No shit?"

A small and innocent Eilana Santos looked at her father with big brown eyes as she balanced on her toes. The four year old couldn't understand what she had been doing wrong or why her father had crouched down in front of her like he did when he was worried or mad.

"Who taught you that word?" Miguel questioned softly.

"I heard it lots," Eilana concluded.

"Tell me the truth Lana," Miguel added softly.

No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't find any harsh words for his daughter. She never truly did anything wrong in his eyes and she wasn't going to punish her for listening to others.

"He said I had to say 'not him'," Eilana replied obviously. "Not him."

Miguel Santos couldn't help the smile that crept on his lips as he crouched down to be eye level to his daughter. The Brazilian moved a piece of his daughters hair behind her ear and placed a hand on her cheek. She had rosy cheeks and big brown eyes that traced her father's face. She was so innocent to the world and Miguel knew it would fade as she grew up...he just wanted her to be safe and respected.

"Was it Kimi or was itJenson?" Miguel continued. "I know it was one of them because they're the only new people you've been around."

Everyone who spent time with Miguel and Eilana knew that the Brazilian father hated people swearing about Eilana. He didn't want her to pick it up as a normal thing and he didn't want her to associate it with anger either. However, Jenson and Kimi had only been in her company once or twice as they hadn't been on the grid a lot. Eilana clung to them as she did most people but Miguel knew they hadn't had the 'no swearing' talk.

"Bwoah."

"So it was Kimi."

Miguel chuckled as he pinched his daughter's cheek. He reminded himself to emphasise to stop swearing. He knew it was only a matter of time before Kimi was crowned 'Uncle Kimi' anyway so Miguel supposed he needed to make sure some rules were set. It was a right of passage for Eilana to adopt Uncle's when she felt safe around them.

"How about you agree not to say that word ever again and I'll take you to see your grandparents?" He offered.

"Okay!"
