2006 — San Marino

"You look just like your dad in that car."

Michael Schumacher smiled down at his goddaughter as she sat in her father's car, grinning to herself as the mechanics pointed to what different things did. Eilana, someone who had a bright and fast memory, was quick to point out things she already knew.

"My legs are too little!" Eilana grinned.

"You'll grow," Mario, one of Miguel's engineers assured. "Then you can steal his seat, can't you?"

"No!" Eilana whined. "That would be mean."

"You don't need to steal from anyone, Lana," Michael beamed. "You'll get there all on your own. Now how about you hop out of that car and go we'll go and find Mick and Gina before qualifying?"

Eilana nodded and quickly stumbled to her feet, allowing Michael to help her out of the car. The eight-year-old had her hair in Brazilian wool braids with colour needs, something her grandmother took pride in doing for her.

"La!" Gina Schumacher called out. "There you are!"

"I was in Pai's car!' Eilana beamed. "Pai got called to be interviewed so the mechanics looked after me and Uncle Micky found me."

"My dad is always chasing you around," Gina complained. "You are wild. How are you so shy?"

Eilana shrugged innocently as she and the two Schumacher children sat with Corinna in hospitality. The young Brazilian let out a yawn as she stretched out her arms. She'd been up and at the circuit since eight in the morning so she wasn't a happy person. However, she soon cheered up in the company of the Schumachers.

France — 2018

Eilana Santos wasn't amazing at Padel, if she was honest. She liked to think she was and she always acted like she knew what she was doing when making dramatic dives but in all reality, it was all hope. She never played it for the skill side nor to be professional — she played it because she wanted to with her friends.
