ACT ONE ; PART THREE
"Four Winds and Bonding Time"

(NOTE: Non-Teyvatian language is in bold. For example, Mondstadtian, Liyuen, K'haenrian, etc)

A woman with blonde hair leaning on a desk glances nervously at a clock. Her coworker (wife), a woman with purple witch-like clothes chuckled, closing her book.

"Jean, what's the hurry? I thought we agreed to meet them here," she asked.

"There have been sightings of Stormterror outside the city," Jean tells her. "Once we meet, we must..."

"Relax, I'll lend a hand when the time comes," the purple lady says, resting her face on her palm.

The door opens, and Kaeya enters, with Amber, Lumine, Paimon, and Ryu trailing behind him.

"Jean, I've brought them."

"...And once it was over I brought them straight here," Kaeya finished. Our dear dragon was still spaced out, so Lumine elbowed him, and he choked on air, coughing his lungs out. Kaeya glanced at him and Lumine, worry in his eyes. The female just smiled innocently, as Ryu composed himself.

"I'm alright," he said in a rough voice (that had Kaeya blushing a bit, not gonna lie). "Please continue, ma'am."

Jean took a deep breath, then said, "Mondstadt welcomes you, windborne travelers. I am Jean, Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius. This is Lisa, our resident Librarian."

Lisa waved as Ryu fully composed himself. "Oh, are you sweeties here to help us out? You're all so adorable!"

Ryu mumbled a "thank you," smiling a bit. The affection was expected, since he's created many accounts, but still, he wasn't completely on guard, as he's been in this world already for more than two months.

"Sadly, the timing is regrettable," Lisa sighed. "Stormterror has caused quite a ruckus in the region since its recent resurgence. Simply put, Mondstadt's elemental sphere and ley lines are now akin to a yarn ball in the paws of a kitten."

She added, "For a mage, it couldn't get much worse. My skin is one elemental particle away from a full-blown breakout."

"If it weren't for this interference, the Knights of Favonius would have better ways to help you than just putting up missing person posters," Jean tells them. "We simply ask that you repose in Mondstadt while we help you seek out your brother."

"We should help out as well," Ryu said, smiling, the same time Lumine said, "Guess we should leave it up to you the- wait what?"

"They're going to help you locate your brother. Don't be a slug, Lumine. We should help out as well, as a thank you," he hissed, smile still on his face, but it looked like it was more forced.

"Good. In that case we need a plan," Kaeya said. Lumine sighed, and nodded, agreeing.

"With Stormterror now directly attacking Mondstadt, we may have an opportunity to cut this problem off at the source. Lisa has revealed the sources of Stormterror's power with her detection magic," Jean tells them.

Kaeya hums. "Is that so?"

"They're located in the abandoned Four Winds' Temples," Lisa tells them. "Stormterror's ability to whip up these kinds of storms can be attributed to it drawing power from the temples."

"Our objective is to deal with three of the four temples," the blonde says. "I trust everyone understands why we are only dealing with three."

"Paimon doesn't," the fairy says.
