I decided to try writing a story. This is a Genshin Impact x Male OC story. Specifically an isekai story. Of course, I am AFAB, so I may get something wrong. Happy reading, dear readers!

ACT ONE ; PART FIVE "Downtime and a Treasure Hunt"
"Ah~ the temple is cleared, and everything is well now," Ryu said, stretching as the three walked back to Mondstadt.
"The sky has cleared as well," Kaeya hummed, glancing up. "Now, where were we in our conversation a while ago?"
Diluc stayed silent, trailing behind the two and spying on Ryu. After all, he could be a threat to Mondstadt.
"Ah, right. So phones are an invention from around the 1970s, so about 730 years ago..."
As Ryu and Kaeya discussed about what's known as 'phones', Diluc was stuck in his thoughts.
This Ryu guy didn't seem like he's from anywhere. Sure, he could be from Liyue, but there's also some hints of Inazuma in his clothing. The dragon horns also were something to note. They don't even look like traditional (or perhaps stereotypical would be the correct term) ones, instead reminding Diluc of corals. They pulse, as if water is constantly running through them.
Putting that aside, he just seems off in general. It could be his mannerisms (too calm and relaxed), his language (a bit jerky with an unknown accent, but surprisingly fine for someone who seems like a foreigner) and the fact that Kaeya seemed completely relaxed around him. Kaeya was never this relaxed. Not since...
He shook his head. Not the time to be thinking about that. There's a dragon flying around and the Abyss has been more active than ever. He needs to know if there's another problem to worry about.
Meanwhile, Ryu glanced behind him. Diluc looked lost in thought. So much he's slowed down a lot, trailing a few feet behind.
"Master Diluc! Are you alright?"
The pyro user's head snapped upward, and he jogged to Kaeya's side.
"I'm fine. Don't waste time, there may be an attack in Mondstadt that we don't know about."
Kaeya rolled his eyes, smirking. "My, my, Master Diluc. For someone who doesn't like the knights, you sure are protective of Mondstadt."
The man stayed silent but gestured for the two to move the fuck on. Ryu continued walking towards Mondstadt, resuming his conversation with Kaeya.
A few minutes later, they reached the city. They parted, and Ryu spotted Lumine and Paimon coming back from the side where Wagner was at.
"Lumine, over here," he called out.
"Oh, Ryu! You're back! Paimon missed you!"
The fairy flew into his arms. She let go a few moments after hugging him and went to his side.
"I just came back from forging some weapons. Here."
Lumine handed him a custom made sword.
