Author's pov:-
He stood there stunned at her words. He was always the one amongst them to say out the inner feelings out and he almost made peace with the fact that she is too shy to say those things this early. He could feel the smile and the red colour on her face when she was confessing everything. No words came out of him. Noor made him feel that he is wanted. He is loved. He is cherished. Though he always had his family and friends to support him but the way Noor supported him, it was different. The pure feminine aura Noor held always made his masculine aura worship her.
The clicking sound of footsteps made Avyaansh came out of his trance. He turned back to look at the person who snatched his sleep at nights but who also was his peace and his most beautiful and favourite dream. He looked her like he was witnessing some fairy who had come into existence just for him. The fact that she was his made his chest swell with happiness. Noor stepped towards him and stood close to him. Suddenly fireflies surrounded the terrace. It was just like a fairytale view for her. She got excited looking at those shining insects. While she adored how they glowed, he adored how she glowed looking at them. The fireflies though played like a paid character during their moment, they all looked blurred and Noor's face was only thing he could see clearly.
"Ansh look fireflies." She said smiling, pointing towards them which made Avyaansh come out of his world. She ran toward the fireflies and twirled with them surrounding her. He looked at her and realised how small things can also make her this happy. He was happy that he did this for her. Yes, once when Avyaansh was at Noor's place, he saw her vision board where she had pictures of fireflies so he thought to surprise her today but her surprise was something he never expected. Avyaansh looked at Noor again but saw slight tears in her eyes this time. He sped off towards her with concerned look and held her by her shoulders. "What happened baby? Why are you crying?" He asked, his voice laced with concern. "No Ansh, these are happy tears." She said smiling and looked into his eyes. He furrowed his eyes not understanding anything. Understanding his expressions, she explained him lovingly.
"Papa batate the ki Mumma always used to believe that where there is true love, fireflies are always there and see they are here right now. They are with us. They feel that what we have is true." She said. Her eyes twinkled with the fact that even the nature blessed them. Not only them and their family but the nature also had trust on them. He was shocked at the explanation. He felt that whatever she said was true because it's been quite a few minutes but the fireflies were there only, they did not fly away. He suddenly embraced her between her arms as if saying how he wants to hold her close to him away from the world. She wrapped her arms around him embracing the warmth and comfort he provided.
Detaching herself, she held is palm and guided him towards the table where a few delicacies were present. "Comee, sit here." She asked him pulling a chair for him which hastily made him hold her hands and stop her from doing that. "As much as I would love getting pampered by you, I would hate if you had to do anything when I am around even if it meant giving me prince treatment." He said and pulled a chair for her and made her sit and sat himself sat on the other chair. This act of him made Noor fall for him more. Not only he showed chivalry but also made the fact clear that he truly believes in true masculinity and not the fake ones where they say only men should show chivalry.
"Achha now try these dishes, I made them for you." She told him. "Are you serious? You made them? For me?" He asked not able to believe. "Toh aur ky." She said boasting herself cutely. "Zinda toh bachh jaaunga na? vo actually 2 din mein shaadi hai meri." He teased making her glare at him. "Meri bhi hai aur agar zyada mazaak udaya na toh bhaag jaaungi fir karna akele khud se shaadi." She warned him and pointed a knife at him which made him raise his hands saying he surrendered himself. She nodded at and asked him to eat. Acting like he was scared to eat it, he ate the food with love. He moaned a little and showed her a thumbs up making her jump like a kid. Looking her her excited form, he pulled her chair towards him and now she was sitting just beside him. As if realising his reaction was honest, she started how the chef wasn't allowing her to cook in his advanced kitchen and how the showed her boss lady attitude so that he could allow her to cook. All the while, Avyaansh looked at her and made her eat the food without her even realising.
"And fir finally he agreed and I made this." She said and looked towards the plate to point at it but saw the whole bowl was empty and realised how he made her eat with him. She suddenly got shy and hid her face in his chest making him chuckle. She was shying away from him but she hid her face in his chest only.
She guided him towards a corner where she also arranged a cute sitting area with mattress placed on the floor with cushions placed on it. Avyaansh sat there and Noor sat in front of him with back against his chest. She was playing with his fingers and draw doodles on his palm with her fingers. Suddenly she looked towards the sky and saw a shooting star. "Ansh, toot ta tara, make a wish." She said and closed her eyes to wish something. Avyaansh just looked at her like she was his only wish. Opening her eyes, she saw him looking at her. "Kya maanga?" She asked him.
"I asked for light and realised God has already blessed me with the brightest one."
