A/N -Since I'm writing from Y/N's POV, book one chapters may be a bit short since Zuko's side of the story doesn't get too much screen time 😓 Also the image below is what your scar looks like

(Your scar looks like this because you shielded Zuko while your back was facing Ozai)

This will be your outfit as far as book one since its the warmest and cutest fire nation outfit I found since most of book one takes place in cold environments just thought it would make since this is your outfit

Water. Earth. Fire. Air. There was once a time of peace when the Avatar kept the balance between the Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads. But that all changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar mastered all four elements; only he could stop the ruthless Fire Nation. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years have passed, and the Fire Nation is nearing victory in the war. Three years ago, Ozai banished me and my brother from the Fire Nation leaving me and my brother to hunt the Avatar to secure the Fire Nation win in this war but I will do everything in my power to prevent that. Some people believe that the Avatar was never reborn into the Air Nomads and that the cycle is broken, but I haven't lost hope. I still believe that, somehow, the Avatar will return to save the world.

As a beam of light reaches the sky a certain fire prince catches notice...

Zuko: Finally! Uncle, do you realize what this means?!

Uncle: I won't get to finish my game?

Zuko: It means my search is about to come to an end.

Uncle sighs uninterestedly and places his tile on the table signaling the end of our match together

Zuko: That light came from an incredibly powerful source! It has to be him!

Y/N: Or it may just be celestial lights brother

Uncle: Y/N's right, we've been down this road before, Prince Zuko. I don't want you to get too excited over nothing. Please, sit. Why don't you enjoy a cup of calming Jasmine tea?

Zuko: I don't need any calming tea! I need to capture the Avatar! Helmsman, head a course for the light!

Zuko points in the direction of where the light once was. Uncle resumes our game, placing another tile bearing the airbending symbol on the previous one. As he does, a gust of wind washes over him, shaking our tiles. Hours pass and Zuko is still standing at the helm of our ship staring into the distance. Uncle approaches him, "I'm going to bed now" As he yawns and stretches "Yep a man needs his rest," he says in his attempt at a veiled suggestion and fails..."Prince Zuko, you need some sleep even if you're right, and the Avatar is alive, you won't find him" I wince at my uncle's claim.

Uncle: Your father, grandfather, and great-grandfather all tried and failed.

Zuko: Because their honor didn't hinge on the Avatar's capture. Mine does. This coward's hundred years in hiding are over.

The Next Day:

Zuko starts his training by facing two soldiers dressed in the uniforms of a firebending Fire Nation soldier. Iroh is sitting on a small chair next to them. Meanwhile, I was meditating a bit farther from them.

Uncle: Again

Zuko opens the fight by spreading his arms in the direction of the two firebenders, showering them with flames. His adversaries block Zuko's attack with ease. Zuko shifts his weight to duck under a retaliation blast from the firebender to his left. The firebender to his right jumps forward to aim a blast at Zuko's feet. The prince propels himself out of the way. He twists around in mid-air and directs another fire blast with his hand to the fire bender that retaliated first, and another with his foot to the fire bender that aimed for his feet. Both soldiers jump out of the way of Zuko's flames. Zuko lands and stretches his fists out toward his adversaries, ready to face another attack.

Uncle: No! Power in fire bending comes from the breath; Iroh moves his both hands up in front of him to emphasize the breathing motion; not the muscles. He stretches his left arm out as if he was sending a fire blast. The breath becomes energy in the body. The energy extends past your limbs and becomes fire! ; he directs a fire blast at his nephew that evaporates just before it would scorch him; Get it right this time.

Zuko: Enough! I've been drilling this sequence all day. Teach me the next set! I'm more than ready!

Iroh: No, you are impatient. You have yet to master your basics.

Zuko: How come Y/N isn't training then?

I stop meditating in astonishment.

Iroh: Your sister is training, she is training the mind something you still lack in Prince Zuko.

Zuko: I lack in NOTHING

I stand and enter the sparring section and stare him dead in the eyes challenging him

Zuko: Alright then *smirks*

Zuko launches the opening attack, unleashing a torrent of searing flames that streak toward Y/N. Y/N fluid as the wind, dances aside with elegant footwork, countering swiftly with precise daggers aimed at Zuko's feet.

Zuko leaps into the air, evading the daggers, and redirects the heat around him into a swirling vortex of fire. He thrusts his palms forward, sending a blazing arc racing toward Y/N.

Y/N, undeterred draws the heat from the surrounding air. She forms a protective shield of shimmering white flames, deflecting the fiery arc harmlessly away.

Zuko intensifies his attacks, unleashing a barrage of rapid fireballs that streak across the plateau.

Y/N responds with a series of precise fire blasts, intercepting each fireball mid-air with calculated bursts of her own. The clash of flames creates a dazzling display of white and red flames.

Y/N, quick to react, spins into a cyclone of swirling fire, dissipating the jet before it can make contact. She emerges unscathed, her eyes gleaming with determination.

Y/N releases the inferno with a mighty roar, sending it hurtling towards Zuko like a tidal wave of fire.

Zuko manages to divert the wave of white flames but in doing so he steps outside of the ring.

Zuko clenches his teeth in anger. He turns around and suddenly directs a power fire kick toward one of the soldiers. The firebender attempts to stop the fire blast, but he is unable to and is thrown on his back by its power.

I excuse myself from this display to resume my meditating

Zuko: The sages tell us that the Avatar is the last airbender. He must be over a hundred years old by now. He's had a century to master the four elements! I'll need more than basic fire bending to defeat him. You will teach me the advanced set!

Iroh: Very well, but first, I must finish my roast duck. As he picks up his duck with a hungry smile on his face

I once again disrupted my meditation as I heard soldiers and my brothers yelling surrounding me.

Zuko: Wake my uncle! Tell him I found the Avatar. As well as his hiding place ...
