AFTR THE INCIDENT WITH the Lees, Maggie was dropped outside of her house by the Shelby boys. Tommy walked her to the door, opened it for her and left once it closed over again. When she heard the sound of the car driving away she bounced up the stairs to her bedroom — hoping to get back a few hours of sleep, only find Faye sprawled across her bed.

"Do you have to take up the whole bed?" Maggie sighed as she plopped down beside the black cat who meowed sweetly back at her. "You're lucky you're so cute," The blonde smiled lightly as she watched the cat stretch.

Maggie changed into one of Tommy's shirts and climbed under the covers of her bed. Maggie was exhausted from the days events, she yawned slightly as she felt Faye curling up beside her and beginning to purr gently. Maggie fell asleep after that.

Only to be woken up by a loud 'bang!' That echoed house and sounded like a door being thrown off its hinges, both Maggie and Faye jumped at the sudden sound. As Maggie listened closely she heard shouting coming from downstairs, before she could sit up and get out of bed to investigate what was happening, two coppers burst into her room and pinned her down onto her bed as she kicked and thrashed.

"Let go of me!" She tried to wiggle out of the grip of the men but it was no use. "Get off of me!" She yelled, only to be met with the sound of someone tutting. "Margaret Lynch, what a pleasure to see you again." The voice sneered, Chester fucking Campbell. Maggie was sure of it was him she could recognise that voice anywhere.

"How's your father?" The gruesome man sneered again at her, "I'm not saying a fucking thing until these men are off of me."

"Get off her," Campbell ordered the two coppers, "You're very thick in the skull," Maggie chuckled as she held up her two middle fingers before dashing over to the window and climbing out of it onto the roof. The man was astonished to say the least. "Fuck you!" She laughed loudly.

Maggie watched as his face went a dark crimson faster than a pair of traffic lights before she ran for it across the rooftops.

Maggie ran along the rooftops of peoples homes until she came to the backstreets, she climbed down onto a wall at the back of someone's house and stood there for a moment — deciding what to do and where to go next.

She sat on the edge of the wall, it was then she only realised how high the wall was. "Fuck it," She murmured to herself before jumping off the wall. Maggie landed on her side, almost immediately she felt a trail of blood trickling down her arm. She ignored the slight stinging in her arm, she would have Aunt Polly look at it later — it was only a scrape.

Maggie began making her way East of Small Heath, keeping to the alleys just to be careful. She knew what this copper was capable of. The blonde peaked her head out onto the streets, men were being beaten left, right and centre. Some lay unconscious, others tried to resist but eventually gave up and even more men were carried away by coppers.

She was stunned at the sight before her eyes, she had managed to spot Polly amidst the chaos. Not a single one of the coppers dared touch her — or even go near her for that matter. Maggie ran to Polly when she reached the front door of the Shelby home. "Pol!" Maggie tried to grab her attention, and it worked. "What happened, love?" Polly asked the disheveled blonde in front of her.

"Coppers, they nearly knocked down my front door," Maggie nodded her head over to her house across the street where her front door was wide open. "I jumped out my window onto the roof and ran for it." Maggie told Aunt Polly animatedly, "I'm guessing that's not your first time." Polly replied as she unlocked the door.
