Today I was invited to my friends. That's why I made myself pretty and on the way to them.

When I got there, Bella opened the door for me and immediately I saw her worried but also annoyed look.

"Hey Bella. Everything okay with you? You look so angry."

"Y/n I'm so sorry. I had no idea until now. I just found out hun."

"What do you mean?"

"Jude and his new girlfriend are also coming."

And I didn't know what to say. The only problem was that Jude is my ex and I left him. But I didn't leave him as I should.

Jude was or is under very strong pressure because of his football career, the press and the media. And since I couldn't cope with it and thought he had to concentrate on his football now, I left him.

I knew he would never decide between me and his career, so I had to take the choice away from him. The whole thing was 1 1/2 (one and a half year) years ago.

But at least he now plays at Real Madrid and is one of the best players. which of course makes me very happy for him. I didn't want anything other than that for him.

"Oh okey. T-that's not a problem."

"I'm so sorry. Sky just found out about it from her boyfriend and I couldn't change it anymore because they are already on their way and-"

"It's okay Bella. It's not really that bad. Don't worry."

"Y/n really I had no idea. It does me-"

"Bella calm down. It's not as bad as you think now. It's okay."

"Come in, my sunny."

I walked into the apartment and already saw Skylar, Noah (Sky's Boyfriend) and Mike (Bella's Boyfriend)

I greet them all and still talked to them until the bell rang and I immediately knew who was at the door.

"Y/n darling, can you please open? Sky and I have to get the food ready."

"Of course."

So I walked over to the door to open it and with every step, my heart started to beat even faster. This is the first reunion with Jude after almost 2 years.

I opened the door and saw Jude and his new girlfriend. And she is really pretty.

"Y-Y/n? W-what uhm I m-mean-"

And I already knew that he was shocked to see me. Which I can understand, of course. But because it was now such an unpleasant silence, I had to break it.

"Uh, come in, you two. Oh and I don't think we know each other yet. Hey, I am Y/n. Nice to meet you."

"Oh the pleasure is mine Y/n. I'm Grace."

"Hey Grace. The drinks are already in the living room. Just help yourself and I'll make my way to the kitchen."

I walked into the kitchen as fast as I could and just wanted to sink into the ground.

"And how did it go?"

"That was so unpleasant. I want to dig my own grave and then die. It was so bad."

"Oh, come on Y/n. The evening is still young."

But it didn't get any better. Again and again I saw Jude looking at me and keeping his eyes on me. From time to time it also happened that our hands touched each other because we always wanted to take the same things.

In the evening when it was getting late, Bella, Grace, Noah and Mike went to the balcony and Jude, Sky and I still covered the table.

Sky was in the kitchen and Jude and I were in the dining room to clear the dishes.

"So that's how it should be between us now?"

"What do you mean?"

"Y/n please. You can't tell me that it didn't mean anything to you. Our eye contact and the way our hands touched."

"Jude don't do that."

"You left me. Without giving me an explanation or a reason."

"Jude please. That's enough now, okay."

"Why did you leave me Y/n?"

"Jude-"

"You have to tell me. That's the least you owe me. I cried for months and always blamed myself why you left. I never understood why!"

"I-I had to"

"You had to? How am I supposed to understand that?"

"Oh, please. You were in your football phase and I had to help you make something out of it. I knew you would never get between me and your football career so I had to choose the decision for you. And obviously i chose right."

"No, you didn't. Of course I wouldn't decide Y/n! I fucking love you! I love you and you did something like that to me!"

"You loved me."

"What?"

"You just said 'I love you' but you have to choose the past."

"And what if it doesn't correspond to the past."
