I've just been to Italy as I'm visiting my families here. I wanted Jude to come with me, but he has an important game.

But what he doesn't know is that I'm getting ready to go to the airport because I'm going to surprise him. I was about to leave until I got a call from him.

"oh hey jude."

"hey baby what are you doing?"

"I um have to go now."

"and where?"

"groceries shopping."

"I thought you were just yesterday."

"Yes, but you know how I am. I just like to eat sweets."

"naww i miss you more. only 1 week left then we'll finally see each other again."

I only now noticed that my flight is there in 1 hour and I still have to go to boarding.

I hung up and drove quickly to the airport.

I just arrived in Germany, Dortmund and walked into the room from the hotel where Jude and his team are staying.

Karim just wrote to me and said that Jude is not doing well because he has been in a bad mood for a while.

It can't be from the game because he scored a goal yesterday! I'm so proud of him. it's a shame that I couldn't be there.

Anyway, I made my way to Jude and Karim's room. I knocked on the door and Karim opened it with a big smile.

"how was your flight?"

"Well thanks. I saw the game on TV by the way. You were so great."

"Oh thank you."

"And where is Jude?"

"He's in the bathroom taking a shower but he should be done soon. Come on in."

"Okey thanks."

I then sat on Jude's bed and that's when I heard him calling for Karim.

"bro, who was at the door?"

"oh just Marco. he wanted my charging cable."

"Oh okay."

"Jude I'll be right back ok. just going to go grab some snacks. need anything bro?"

"No, I'm fine. I'm going to call y/n anyway."

karim left the room and i waited so long for jude. after a while he was done but didn't see me until now.

"Finally. You need longer in the shower than me."

when jude saw me he could hardly believe his eyes and ears.

"y/n? are you really here?"

"Yes of course babe. I'm here."

"omg."

He came up to me and without warning, he hugged me tightly. now and then he kissed my head and my forehead which I found very cute.

"You're really here. And I'm not dreaming either, am I?"

"No Jude. I'm really here."

"Oh god I missed you. And I thought why you're mad at me."

"When we spoke on the phone you were a bit strange. And earlier I wanted to call you and wrote to you several times but I didn't get an answer."

"oh sorry babe. i was on the plane and had to put my phone on flight mode. but i saw your game and i was so proud of you you don't believe me."
