I look at him and smile. He stands up and grabs my hands looking down at me. " My lovely fiancé, would you like to get married here? " I would love my love!"

Couple weeks later
January 10th

I'm 25 weeks pregnant and we're not up to much here. My mom is flying into Kansas to help us start with the nursery. Travis wants to be involved as much as possible with the setup but he's not much of a designer as this house was as bare as can before I moved in. The twins will share a room for a while but as they get older there will be plenty of rooms they can have as a bedroom. First thing first, mom and I went to Ikea to pick up the furniture I ordered. Travis helped load in into a trailer we were renting to help with moving stuff and buying new stuff. I got two plain white cribs, a large dresser that also works as a changing table, gray reclining 2 person rocking chair (so we can both rock) and a gray bookshelf.

The baby's nursery will be yellow. Yellow is a bright and happy color but also serves as gender neutral. I call Brittney "hey! Sorry I meant to call earlier but got caught up. We're planning and starting to put together the nursery. Would you two like to come over?" "Of course!" She replies. About an hour later we're back from IKEA and Britt and Patrick are waiting outside the house. I go to give Brittney a hug and Patrick starts helping Travis unload the pieces of furniture. The girls and kids all go into our living room while the boys start to build. We looked some stuff up online to get and we also decided the boys will watch the kids while we go to some smaller, more private antique shops.

At the antiques shops we found super cool and old lamps. The rest will be here soon after ordering. I can't wait to get the nursery all set up and ready. Travis and Patrick have been handy all day putting in gates to separate the dogs from the bedrooms, baby cams around the house, and super fancy baby monitor and a dimming light in the babies room. Mom decided to make some stir fry and Brittney made some strawberry oatmeal bars. I was helping where I could but didn't last long as my ankles would get swollen. Mom set the table super gorgeous as usual and we all sat down gazing at this stir fry my mom has made." Andrea, this looks amazing!" Travis says as he scoops the biggest potion of us all. Britney scoops and cuts some for the kids. I can't wait till I get to do that. A couple bites into my moms famous stir fry.

My mouth starts to tingle and my whole body itches. "Mom" I say panicked. "Taylor was wrong?" Travis stands up and walks over to me while Britt and Patrick look at eachother. " I think I'm having an allergic reaction. My mouth is tingling and I'm so itchy". My mom walks over and grabs my hand leading me to the couch. Travis follows. "Where are you itchy?" My mom asks.
"Everywhere" I reply and she takes my t-shirt off to reveal hives everywhere. "Travis called 911" she points to him " this is really bad and not good for the babies" making me panic even more. "Patrick takes the kids into the basement living room and stays there so if isn't scary for them. Brittney stay with us for now. My mom starts to slide off my sweats revealing more hives. "Anyone get an epi pen?" I start to panic and breathe heavily "I feel like my throat is closing". Travis picks me up " we need to go NOW". As he says this the EMTs walk in and administer an epi pen. A tall blonde woman in her mid 50s asks

" do you know what you were allergic to? Is there anything you haven't eaten in a while" i try to think. " I guess the only thing in zucchini". She nods checking my vitals. "Well that has to be what caused it. Now when you are pregnant you can be allergic to things you never were before. You're all good now though." I sign and sit up before laying my head on Travis's lap." Thank you we all say as they leave.what a day..
