The next day the doorbell rang
Aphmau hummed to herself making her way up the hallway as she opened the door
"Hello there-" she said, staring at a familiar purple haired girl with an over the shoulder ponytail, and wearing a beige sweatshirt now worn from time that she could still make out 'are you feeling the rewind?' and in her right hand was a cup of coffee
"Oh.. my... Irene.." Aphmau said
"Aphmau! Look how much you've grown" Luka said sitting her coffee down and somehow managing to pick her up
"Look how much you've grown indeed." She added rubbing her back and then adjusting her thick black framed glasses over her nose.
"How's my favorite non biological daughter?" Luka asked
"Pretty good, renting a wonderful house just down the street from my boyfriend. I've been doing amazingly, I'm guessing you're here for Katelyn?" Aphmau asked.
"i'm here to see all of you, california is nice and all but it's been very.. lonely" Luka said fixing the messenger bag she had under her shoulder as she looked left and right
"Makes sense, come on in." Aphmau said letting Luka enter the house.
She walked down the hallway looking at the random table against the wall with a pet carrier and a vase of flowers on it.
"Nice nice" Luka said
"There's a pool out back too!" Aphmau said excited.
"ooo! I got a 100 acre farm down in california with this biggg 2 story farmhouse on it. Now that my grandparents are gone it's kinda my responsibility now" Luka said
"Ah, yeah that definitely sounds very lonely though." Aphmau said.
"you having a party out back?" Luka asked hearing loud music
"Yup!" Aphmau said enthusiastically.
"Nice sorry I'm a wreck it's a 24 drive from here to my house" Luka said looking up at the massive plasma tv on the wall,
"Yeah I know who bought that for you" she added
"House warming present he said. Though really it's usually just hooked up for streaming just about everything." Aphmau said.
"Makes sense" Luka said noticing the red coleman cooler hiding in the corner away from everything
"Awee.. my poor baby" Luka said
"Yeah she does that." Aphmau said
"Maren has never liked being around people, I don't know what we did differently between her and liff. But she's always been like this" Luka said Tami her hand over marens lid
"Yeah that's why I let her chill in here away from basically everyone." Aphmau said.
"She's got character" Luka said as KC came out of the kitchen stopping dead in her tracks
"Yeah she's definitely very unique. Especially compared to the trash bots that they've got around here now." Aphmau said.
"Why is it because she's the only person on the block that doesn't like you?" Luka asked
"Aphamu~senpai who is this?" KC asked
"Oh! Right this is Luka, a friend of Katelyn's from college. And no, Marens more unique because she's honestly just cool." Aphmau said. Hearing her gears behind her as the cooler stood up rotated around and turned into maren behind her
"Ohhh.. you're the person katelyn sama is always talking about, I'm KC!" KC said
"Well good to know she hasn't forgotten me yet" Luka said
"Hello aunty luka" Maren said hugging her waist
"Hello maren" Luka said patting her head as maren disappeared
"Aww, so cute!" Aphmau said.
"Nice to meet you kc" Luka said giving her a hug
"KC likes hugs" KC said hugging her back
"Everyone else is already out back." Aphmau said.
"Katelyn out there too? Or is she hiding upstairs in her room away from everyone.. huh starting to think I was thinking of Katelyn when I programmed part of mimic 1.2" Luka said
"She's probably still in her room." Aphmau said.
"Alright well it was good seeing you, if I don't see you later love you aphmau" Luka said heading up the stairs as a blue station wagon with wood paneling came into the driveway
"Yup, love ya too, see if you can get Katelyn to join us." Aphmau said.
"I'll try my best!" Luka said
"Ugh... This is why I hate machines" katelyn said staring at her computer monitor. She typed a command into the console which it rejected
"How does luka do this stuff?" Katelyn asked her self
"Well when you have a balanced diet.." Luka said causing Katelyn to jump
"What's up sweet ass" Luka asked walking up behind her and putting her arms around her
"Holy crap you scared me.. Im um.. trying to figure out why it's not picking up the new ram sticks
"Ahh." Luka said moving the mouse over to the power off option and shutting it down
"Hey!" Katelyn said
"Just relax and look pretty" Luka said as Katelyn crossed her arms,
Luka sat the beige box of outdated sadness, on the desk and pulled the side panel off and looked at the ram, pulling all sticks out as she examined them all, putting one in the first slot, and then one in the last slot, then slot two and three. And hitting the power
"Start spamming f2 please" Luka said as katelyn did as instructed watching as it booted into bios. They both looked at the screen which stated that all the ram was detected
"Huh. Well thank you" Katelyn said
"Call me a master of my craft" Luka said placing her hands on her hips
"You sure are" Katelyn said pulling her in for a kiss
"Give me a sec" Luka said pulling breath spray out of her bag and spraying it in her mouth.
"Alright" she added giving Katelyn a kiss
-meanwhile outside-
The station wagons back door opened revealing a repaired amb, as chris pulled a ramp out of the back
"Alright ember I just want you to gently push it out the back" Chris said
"Alright! I get it!" Ember said gently pushing it out the back
"No! Hold onto it!!!" Chris said as he was run over by the amb
"oh hell!!!" Ember said grabbing a hold of it back pulling it backwards off him
"oh.. fuck me" Chris said
"I am a robot I cann-" Ember said
"It's an expression!" Chris said
The grill sizzled as a spatula began flipping the cheese infused burger over as rob twirled the spatula in his fingers he was wearing an apron that had the number 76 on it. Holding up the spatula as a thick robotic claw grabbed ahold of it and clamped down
"Yoink" the underwater mining and rescue unit said holding it up
"Can I have the spatula back?" Rob asked flipping a hot dog with tongs
"Hmmm.." she said debating it
"When did my backyard become a safe haven for units?" Aphamu asked trying to take it but the grip was too strong
"Haven't you heard? We multiply" she said
"Hey! Don't make me wake up your mother, she gets very cranky when I wake her up just to scold you" Chris said pushing the amb over
"Fine.." she said letting go and folding her claws back up onto her back
"Thank you." Rob said as Aphmau handed him the spatula just in time to flip a few burgers.
"Sorry about quil, these new ones have minds of their own" Chris said
"So does the prototype." Rob said.
"It gives them character!" Aphmau said.
"Marens personality is auto generated by characteristics and traits picked up by people around her" Chris said placing his laptop on top of the amb
"Makes sense." Rob said using tongs to place something wrapped in tin foil onto a plate
"Code error huh.. interesting" Chris said looking at this laptop
"Working on the AMB again are we?" Rob asked
"It's not exactly a party if you don't have a mobility bar that's automatic" Chris said typing something behind him
"Just say it isn't a party without beer man." Garroth said

"See that's more like it!" Travis said.
"Even though I brought two cases." Rob said.
"And we're ever so grateful for that." Dante said.
"Come on amber I know your a cranky one but we kinda need you today" Chris said
"Try restoring the backup file.. you did create a backup file right?" Luka asked
"Good idea" Chris said, sticking a USB into a port and watching the bar go up to completion.
"And then.. hah! Yes that worked" Chris said pressing enter as the machinery came to life extending the dispenser up out of the top
"there you go" Luka said
"And how have you been since your falling out you cranky bastard" she asked putting a hand on rob's shoulder
"Pretty good all things considered. Been managing to not draw too much attention from my parents and living within walking distance of my girlfriend is very much amazing." Rob said as Aphmau gave him a kiss.
"That's good" Luka said as katelyn silently walked over beside her
"Your also in walking distance of me ironically" Chris said
"True. Which is also very nice." Rob said
"The smartest man in town" Chris added
"Smartest man in town huh?" Garroth asked
"Yeah il half to see it to believe it" Travis said
"Amber. Make something of yourself" Chris said smacking his fist down on the counter as it pulled apart
"She's pissed" he added walking away as
the amb folded up into a mass of pink and maroon metal which became the figure of a woman. Her hair was pointy and defined with a pink color scheme and black fade. her face which unlike the others was entirely digital and animish with fully white eyes and a line for a mouth she looked annoyed more than anything. As the dispenser popped out of her chest where her tits would be
"Huh. Not what I was expecting." Rob said.
"Those tits are awesome." Dante said. As Amber rolled her eyes
"Well I can see why you call yourself that now." Travis said.
"That's awesome." Garroth said.
"Ahh! Shit! Moms awake" quil said dipping
"Runaway!" A medic unit said climbing over the fence
"Oh hell!!" Ember said crawling over the back fence aswell
"Scatter" the construction unit yelled
"So that's their m- oh that makes sense actually." Rob said.
"Milf?" Travis asked
"More like mega.. she's got almost 300 kids" Luka said As the dispenser options lit up
"Holy hell." Rob said as Dante cautiously approached Amber. As her square hat on her head flickered on revealing the words automatic mobility bar as she stood there with her annoyed expression
"Here" Luka said tossing them red cups as chris stood by the tree by himself
"Thanks." Dante said, looking at the options which were Coke, Poopsi, sprite, mike's hard strawberry lemonade, fireball cinnamon whisky, and luka mix
"hard strawberry lemonade seems the best option." Dante said placing his cup under the nozzle as a laser examined the cup and poured all the way up to the fill line on the cup and stopped. A drawer under the dispenser dropped down which held more cups in red, orange, yellow green, and blue.
"Awesome. Thanks." Dante said, taking his drink and walking away as Rob started serving burgers.
"Ohh! Nice" Chris said as amber stared daggers at him
"Now it's a party." Rob said.
"Yeah!" Dante said as amber refilled his cup turning her head as the antennas on top of her head wobbled
"So how's everyone enjoying the neighborhood?" Aphmau asked.
"Well I'm starting to think it ain't so bad now" Dante said looking up at Amber.
"Dante simping for a robot was not on my list of things to witness." Garroth said to Travis. As he approached
"I doubt it was on anyone's list." Travis replied with a small chuckle.
"Zane lives down the street and regularly patrols. It's a nice place." Rob said, answering Aphmau.
"Yeah, mum would be so happy knowing I'm close to my baby brother." Garroth said, taking a burger.
"Don't you mean she'd be happy knowing you're close with Zane?" Travis asked. Holding out a red cup as amber shot a laser into it and filled it to the perfect height
"Same thing." Garroth said, taking a bite from his burger.
"I'm sure she'd be thrilled either way." Aphmau said, eating her burger as Celestia barked.
"Is that a puppy awh, how cute" Terra said as the dog ran around Amber's leg which she lifted outwards until the puppy ran over to Aphmau. And then she placed it back on the ground
"She's adorable, until she pees on my slippers." Rob said, handing Celestia a burger.
"And yet you still love her." Aphmau said.
"Well yeah, she's practically our daughter." Rob said.
"eBay bids are off the charts today" Maren said walking over
"Well speaking of daughters.. what are they bidding for an aston martin db11?" Chris asked
"Nah it uh... let me.. two all access passes to love love paradise" Maren said
"Huh.. all access passes huh" Chris said taking a drink before the realization set in causing him to choke
"All access passes!?" He asked
"The hell is Love Love paradise?" Rob asked.
".. you of all people i'd expect to know what llp is" Chris said
"Nope. The bells are quiet." Rob said.
"Only the best island resort getaway!" Dante said.
"No, that's starlight." Rob said.
"Starlight doesn't have a human chess board," Travis said
"Love love paradise is where you go for your honeymoon because it's an island based on the theme of love, usually intended for newlyweds without children.. but they did install a water park a couple years ago" Chris said
"Huh. Definitely worth looking into, could be a fun little vacation." Rob said.
"good luck, it sells out instantly.. and if those tickets are selling on eBay then you ain't got a chance In hell" Chris said patting Marens head.
"I'm sure I can dig something up before they actually open." Dante said confidently.
"For once I actually believe you" Chris said
"Then I'll leave it in your clearly enthusiastic hands." Rob said finally sitting down and unwrapping the tin foil revealing a medium rare seasoned steak.
"I got style, tearing through the curves, let my flag wave proudly to the peo-" Chris's phone wrang as he picked it up
"Hello?" He asked
"Oh hey boss.. hmm I'm at he said looking around.. baseball game" he said
"Nice save." Travis said.
"Guess I wanted to try something new" Chris said as he smacked maren on the head causing her to play the neatest baseball game through her radio
"Yeah i'll tell her when I get back" Chris said hanging up
"Do I even wanna kn-" Rob asked
"No" Chris said cutting him off
"Probably for the best." Rob said.
"Your sister has set up a date with romaves for whatever reason and I'm the waterboy" Chris said
"That's... huh." Rob said.
"Was it mum or dad that agreed?" Garroth asked with a mouthful.
"Mom" Chris said
"Then who knows what it could be about." Garroth said, swallowing.
"I both love and hate being a business guy" Chris said
"And now you see why I got out while I had the chance." Rob said.
"Nah I've been doing this longer than any of you. I just thought I could scam your dad out of a couple million" Chris said
"And how'd that turn out?" Rob asked.
"look around" Chris said
"Pretty great for both of you I'd say." Aphmau said.
"It's ironic because he came to me and not the other way around" Chris said
"Yeah he has a nose for talent, it's why he's so good in the entertainment business." Rob said.
"No he just saw this viral video" Chris said sending him a news video on the phone
"No one of his assistants did." Rob said opening the video
Liffy walked up to a bench with a leaf blower on it setting it to full power as she pulled the trigger sending it flying through a dorm window causing mass panic. As she dipped away with tiny pupils
"Good times." Rob said.
"I looked ugly back then" Maren said
"Well she was essentially just a rough draft." Rob said.
"..Maren you do realize you're still the same person right? all I did was paint you red and upgrade your software" Chris said.
"That explains a lot actually." Rob said.
"Huh.." Maren said looking down at her dress. which was ripped around the skirt area and to her name tag which was just restitched over.
"Holy shit" she replied.
"Yup." Rob said, eating his steak.
"What.. no I look completely different" Maren said as Chris slapped Liffy's old creepy grin over the massive frown she had drawn on herself.
"Now paint yourself green and get rid of the visor" Chris added.
"Nooooooooooo!' Maren said.
"Oh my Irene." Aphmau said.
Dante spit out his drink as he noticed Terra speaking to Luka.
“Holy crap, she’s here” Dante exclaimed.
“Who? The girl who outflirted you?” Garroth asked.
“Yeah, that’s her there.” Dante said.
“Alright, I’ll go talk to h…” Garroth said, cutting himself off when he saw Terra talking to K-C.
“Yeahhh…. I'm not doing this one, nope, no way.” Garroth said.
“What?!” Travis exclaimed.
“Coward.” Dante teased.
“Oh, I’m not a coward, but I am not messing with her… not with flirtation.” Garroth said.
“And why is that?” Travis asked.
Oh, I dunno… maybe ‘cause THAT… is the CRIMSON HARLOT!” Garroth exclaimed.
“Who?” Travis asked.
“Should we know what that means?” Dante said.
“You… really don’t know her?” Dante asked in surprise.
“No clue.” Travis said.
“She’s really a bit of an anomaly, she just kinda showed up out of no-where, became the most famous British female pornstar under thirty years old and possibly the most famous British female pornstar overall, then she disappeared for a year, then came back unannounced, reclaimed her crown and I guess now she’s here.” Garroth explained.
“Sorry to whoever dates her then. She shared and flashed herself to everyone multiple times.” Dante said.
“Well that’s rude, I’m sure she is a lovely person outside the camera.” Travis replied.
“Not what I meant… and in no offense but that for all that beauty, she is heavily used goods.” Dante said.
Travis lightly hit Dante in the back of the head.
“Jesus man, no need for that!” Travis exclaimed.
