"Damn it all to hell.." Maren said waking up as she ripped the iPhone charger out of the back of her head
"That is not safe.." she said throwing the iPhone charger into a safe corner
"Couldn't find the one you should have had. Ordered a new one." Rob said.
Maren popped open the chest lock and opened it
"Ah. Yeah that thing didn't wanna open. " Rob said.
"You gotta turn the handle, it's not a pull door." Maren said.
"Ah, that makes sense, yeah. Noted. Anyway, are you ready to check out the new place?" Rob asked.
She turned into a cooler and than transformed back to put her back on her feet
"You see I added that so you can't push me face first into the sand any more and watch me struggle" Maren said
"I recall it was on your back. Face first, you can just push up." Rob said.
"Can't lift more than 10 pounds remember" Maren said
"Ah. Yeah that's fair." Rob said.
"It's a crime I weigh 20.." Maren added
"That is definitely bullshit. I can possibly help you at least lift 30 pounds." Rob said.
"Well that's what I said.. but he was like I don't wanna risk you hurting someone because you don't know your own strength" Maren said
"He has a point." Rob said.
"..and that is what I said" Maren added
"Anyway, let's get going." Rob said, picking up the charger.
"Alright let me just make sure I have everything.." Maren said looking up at her bow which was missing the knife
"Took that out for safety. Plus, Celestia is riding with us." Rob said as Celestia barked from her pet carrier.
"Fair.. you never can be too careful." Maren said, pulling a second one out of her chest and sliding it into the slot completing the look.
"I just had a flashback. Damnit dad." Rob said.
"I tried talking father into a 3D printer so I could have infinite knives once..." Maren said
"They'd be plastic essentially. Which would be better honestly." Rob said.
"thats what I said and he said.. yeah that's the point i'm raising you to be a sweet girl not a sentient war machine" Maren said
"Ya know, that's a fair point. Though I might actually buy a 3d printer." Rob said.
"as the old man once said. don't give it sentience" Maren replied
"Unlike him I don't look at a toaster and go 'Lets make you a criminal.' then get mugged by a walking toaster that isn't even sentient." Rob said.
"H..Hey! let me remind you that the toaster was me.." Maren said pulling out a knife
"Ah.. force of habit" she said putting it away
"Huh. Thought you were something else. Sorry about that." Rob said.
"no he put me in a toaster first and all I could do was make wagfles" Maren said
"That explains so much." Rob said.
"Speaking of which.. give me wagfles" Maren added
"Unfortunately, we're out but I do have to go grocery shopping anyway." Rob said gesturing to the now empty apartment.
"Be gentle" Maren said transforming into a cooler
"Will do." Rob said carefully picking up the cooler and Celestia's pet carrier as the husky puppy barked happily.
"Let's roll." Rob said, closing the door before coming back a few minutes later, running into his room and running out with pillows and a blanket down to his car. putting the cooler in the trunk and the pet carrier in the back seat

2 Months Later.

"Waaaaaaaaow look at this place.." Kc said eyeing the modern 2 story family home In front of her and snapping pictures of every angle she could get
"Amelia Kun will be Soo jealous!" Kc exclaimed
"Yeah.. i'll admit it's really nice.. are you sure you're okay paying for this house Aph?" Katelyn asked turning to Aphmau standing beside the truck
"Yeah. Got a nice bonus at work. Plus, the neighborhood is pretty safe from what Rob told me." Aphmau said.
"must have been a pretty hesitant safe. Katelyn said walking past the shadow knights graffitied trashcan and quickly into the house
"Kc will go find a place to put her shrine to the otp that is her ship" Kc said disappearing creepily
"Leaving me to do all the unpacking by myself." Aphmau said, opening the back of the moving truck.
"Gotta claim my room, duh." Katelyn said, poking her head out the door quickly.
"Yeah yeah." Aphmau said.
"Yo." Rob said, walking over to the moving truck.
"Oh hey! Wasn't expecting you to drop by just yet." Aphmau said as she hugged Rob.
"Thought I could lend a hand while Celestia took a nap. That and I saw KC and Katelyn just do that." Rob said.
"Oh right, you said the neighborhood's safe, why's there a shadow knight tag on the trashcan?" Aphmau asked.
"Huh. Yeah, it is, they just still do that because they think it's funny. I'll just let the neighborhood watch know to keep an eye out. Thank fuck the HOA is pretty chill." Rob said.
"That's good. So are you gonna help me unload this?" Aphmau asked.
"Well duh." Rob said, climbing into the truck.
"Just hand me my stuff first." Aphmau said as Rob handed her a box that said Aph's clothes.
"Huh, this is unsurprising, you still got the ponies." Rob said as he grabbed a box that said Aph's ponies.
"Well yeah, you collect action figures and prop replicas, I collect ponies." Aphmau said as Rob hopped out of the truck.
"Let's get these inside. Hopefully Katelyn comes back for her stuff. I'm not gonna touch any of that. Same for KC. I don't know who scares me more..." Rob said as he and Aphmau went into the house.
Entering the house they were met with a small hallway that split off in two separate directions one seemingly a kitchen and the other a seemingly a living room with a staircase going up to the second floor
"Second floor. Biggest room." Aphmau said as they went upstairs to the biggest room where there was already a box that had Aph's room written on it waiting for her
"Who the..." Aphmau said.
"Oh I did that, KC and I kinda figured it was only fair you should get the biggest room because you're paying more." Katelyn said, stopped by the doorway as Rob casually took the box aphmau was holding and sat the ones he was carrying by the one in the room.
"Makes sense. Definitely gonna need bigger curtains though." Aphmau said.
"Want me to help get your stuff Katelyn?" Rob asked.
"No." Katelyn said, walking away.
"Fair enough. Worth a shot." Rob said, walking back down to the moving truck.
After Aphmau and Rob finish setting up her room Rob kissed her.
"You want me to bring Celestia over later?" Rob asked.
"Yeah, miss my fur baby." Aphmau said.
"Heh. She's definitely missed her mama. Though she definitely has a favorite spot in my house." Rob said.
"That was quick." Aphmau said.
"It makes sense when you see it." Rob said.
"Then maybe I'll come pick her up later." Aphmau said.
"You're more than welcome. Though I probably should get back to her then. I'll see you later." Rob said kissing Sphmau again before heading home.
"Mhm, see you soon." Aphmau said.
A bit later in the evening there came a knock at the door. It was polite but with a serious manner.
"Wasn't expecting anyone." Aphmau said, opening the door revealing Zane.
"Hello I saw you moving in and I figured I'd stop by and introduce myself. I'm Zane, the leader of the neighborhood watch as positioned by HO..A..- Oh it's you" he said looking at Aphmau.
"Zane?" Aphmau said, surprised.
".. Yes anyway if you see any suspicious behavior or have any questions comments or concerns about the Neighborhood watch you can contact me at this number" he said putting a stack on papers in her hands
"Huh. Good to know." Aphmau said, looking at the papers.
"and here's a fruit basket. Welcome to the neighborhood" Zane said offering her the basket
"Neat." Aphmau said, taking the basket.
"See you around or hopefully not." Zane said, closing the door as he walked away laughing evilly.
"Well that's not too unexpected." Aphmau said, noticing another moving truck across the street.
"Oh more new neighbors!" KC said from the kitchen.
"Let's go check it out." Aphmau said as she and KC went across the street.
"What'd I tell you, this place is sweet, check out that backyard!" Dante said.
"Yeah, it's actually a pretty nice place, plus it's not too far from anyone we actually know." Travis said.
"Yeah, it beats the apartment by far." Garroth said.
"Let's go see what the rooms are like." Dante said as Aphmau and KC walked over.
"Yeah." Travis said.
"That's a good idea." Garroth said.
"Hi! I guess you guys are just moving in too? O just" Aphmau said as the guys turned to face her.
"Aphmau!" The guys said in unison.
"Dante, Garroth and Travis, you gotta be fu-" Aphmau said as Katelyn walked over.
"Hey guys." Katelyn said.
"Heyyyy Katelyn." Travis said.
"Nope fuck that I'm going back home.
"Same." Aphmau said.
"Man I hate to see them leave but I love watching them go." Travis said.
"You said it." Dante said.
"Are you guys gonna help me unpack our stuff or what?" Garroth said, carrying 4 boxes over his shoulders.
Back in the girls house Aphmau was checking out the basement.
"Oh that's where the washer and dryer are." Aphmau said as noticed something out of the corner of her eye, as she walked through what seemed to be a wine cellar past a few boxes and came to a wall with hand painted pictures of Aphmau and Rob
"Well that's about... the weirdest thing I've seen this week." Aphmau said.
She heard movement as she turned around to see Kc coming out of the shadows with her glowing eyes
"..does Aphmau senpai like it..?" KC said, scratching her arm. Her eyes were wide and crazed looking
"Honestly, I'm not entirely surprised considering the sheer number of pictures you take of us." Aphmau said.
"this.. this is where kc comes to make sacrifices to the shipping shrine.. hehehe" KC said giggling
"I hope you only sacrifice posters and other such stuff." Aphmau said.
"exactly." KC said pulling out the poster of Levi
"huh, that's where that went." Aphmau said.
"Now say goodbye!!" She said setting it on fire with a lighter as she laughed evilly watching it burn
"KC! Nooooo!" Aphmau said, coughing from the smoke.
KC just continued laughing as Levi ceased to exist
"Let this be a lesson Aphmau to senpai.. if you ruin kcs ship so help Irene i will unleash a wrath upon you that will take years of therapy to fix.. now let's go unpack" KC said in a cheery voice walking away
"At least stop burning stuff inside the house!" Aphmau said walking out of the basement.
