"Daddy!" Agad na tumakbo paapapit sa akin si Zachariah.
"Why are you crying?" nag-aalalang tanong ko dito.
"They take Alliannah." Humihikbing sagot nito.
Nilingon ko ang papalapit na si Faith na mukhang kagagaling lang sa pag-iyak.
"N-nagkaroon ng internal bleeding si Alliannah k-kaya isinugod siya sa hospital," she explained.
"Sinong kasama n'ya?" I asked.
"Pumunta dito sila Rose, sila na daw muna ang magbabantay kay Alliannah, while Hael is having a trouble in breathing kaya tumawag na rin ako nang doktor." Tumayo ako at lumapit sa kaniya.
I hugged her and caress her back.
"Nag-aalala ako sa mga anak natin Khyel," halos pabulong niyang sabi sa akin habang umiiyak.
"They'll be fine, love, be strong, we need to be strong for them." I cooped her face and kiss her forehead.
"Hello?"
["Faith, may pinapapirmahang waver we need you here,"] sabi ng isang boses mula sa kabilang linya.
"I'll go there," ako na ang sumagot at kinuha ang coat ko.
"Daddy, needs to do something, behave, okay?" bilin ko sa kay Zachariah at hinalikan ito sa noo niya.
"I'll be back," sa pagkakataong ito ay ibinaling ko naman ang tingin ko kay Faith na nakatayo sa likuran ng anak namin.
I immediately went inside my car and drive on the way to the hospital. Mabilis ang pagmamaneho ko kaya agad akong nakarating.
"I'm Alliannah's father," pagpapakilala ko nang makarating ako.
"We need you to sign this waver in order to proceed for operation, you're daughters condition is now critical, we really need to do liver transplant." Iniabot niya sa akin ang isang clipboard kung saan nakalagay ang paper na kailangan kong pirmahan.
I'm nervous. I don't know what will happen next but I have to take this in order to save my daughter.
Agad kong ibinalik ang clipboard sa kaniya nang matapos kong pirmahan ang papel. Ngumiti siya sa akin.
"We will start the operation at exactly ten o'clock." Tumango ako dito bago siya tuluyang umalis.
"Thank you for looking after them while I'm away," sabi ko sa kay Arrone at Rose.
"Wala 'yon, kaibigan namin si Faith kaya it's our pleasure na banatayan sila," nakangiting sabi ni Arrone kaya ngumiti ako.
"Pasok muna ako," paalam ko sa kanila at pumasok sa loob ng kwarto ng anak ko.
From the door, I saw her. Ang dami ng mga aparature na nakakabit sa kaniya. Nanginginig ang mga kamay ko. Hindi ko matanggap na nasa ganitong kondisyon ang anak ko. I pull the chair closer to her bed and sit beside her.
"Baby, be strong, please, gusto pa kitang makasama ng matagal, daddy still wants to bond with you...anak, lumaban ka ha, mahal na mahal ka namin ng mommy at mga kapatid mo." I wiped the tears running through my cheeks. "Baby, hayaan mo namang makabawi ako sa lahat ng pagkukulang ko sa 'yo, b-baby, please."
ALLIANNAH ZELENE EVANS QUEMATON
"Mommy, daddy, look there's a big white light there, can I go there?" I asked my parents pointing to the light near the big three on out backyard.
"There's nothing there, baby, come inside," mom said in response but I'm too curious about the light so I went there.
"Baby, where are you going?" dad ask so I look back to see him.
"Daddy, I'm going to take look at that light," I answered and point at the white light once again.
I saw a sudden change of his face but I just shrugged and turn my back to him. On my way to the light, I saw an old lady. She looks like my daddy.
"Alliannah, go back to your parents and siblings they are all waiting for you." She smile at me and gently turn my back to the light.
I once again look at the old lady who is now slowly taken by the light. I saw her smile at me before she completely disappear. It's weird that the old lady looks exactly like dad. Especially her deep emerald eyes. I run inside the house and hug mom and dad when I saw them.
"Daddy, I saw an old lady and she looks exactly like you, she told me that you all are waiting for me but then she got taken away by the light," I told them but dad just smiled at me.
"Yes, baby, we are waiting for you," mom answered and smile at me.
FAITH EVANS
"Alliannah!" Agad akong tumayo nang makita kong gumalaw ang ulo ng anak ko.
"Mommy." She tried to move but I stop her.
"Baby, don't move muna." Pigil ko sa kaniya.
"Mom, where is daddy?" she ask at inilibot ang tingin sa buong kwarto.
"He went outside to buy foods, baby, why?" tanong ko dito.
"I just want to ask something, I hve strange dream, mommy," she states, sakto naman na dumating na si Khyel.
Halos maluha ito nang makita niyang gising na ang anak namin.
"Oh God, you're already awake, baby!" Mabilis na naglakad si Khyel palapit sa pwesto ni Alliannah at madaling ibinaba ang hawak niyang pagkain.
He hug our daughter like he didn't saw her for six years. Ganiyang-ganiyan siya noong unang beses niyang makita ang mga anak namin. I saw his tears slowly falling from his cheeks.
"You don't know how happy I am right now, baby," humihikbi niyang sabi habang yakap ang anak namin.
"Daddy, I saw someone on my dreams," sabi niya nang humiwalay si Khyel mula sa pagkakayakap nilang dalawa.
"Really? Who is she?" Kumunot ang noo niya habang nagtatanong.
"She didn't introduce herself to me but she told me that you, mommy, Zachariah, and Hael are all waiting for me, she is an old lady and she looks like you, especially her eyes, daddy," pagkukwento niya.
"What happened after she told you those things?" mahinahong tanong ni Khyel.
I was just listening at her.
It's probably Khyel's mom. He looks exactly like her.
"She guide me to turn my back from that white light, but when I look back, she's slowly being taken by that light and she's smiling at me," pagpapatuloy niya. "You're also there, daddy, you and mom, and Zachariah, and---why are you crying, dad?"
I saw Khyel wiping his tears while he's sobbing.
"She is your grandmother, baby...she's my mom and she is your donor,"
