*ring ring*
Risa woke up from the sound of her alarm clock that has been ringing non-stop. She was sitting on a chair and laying her head off her desk. When she opened her eyes, the first thing that she noticed was her surroundings. A small room with her portrait hanging on the wall, a couch on the side and she noticed that she was holding a picture of a woman in her hand. It turns out that the person in that picture is Alice Guo. After she saw the picture, she questioned herself who that person is and she once noticed a pile of papers on her side and it has a mark that says Mayor Alice Guo Files for Investigation.
The room is so quiet and the only thing that makes a noise is her cellphone ringing because of the alarm. She sat down properly and reached her cellphone to see the time and to turn off her alarm clock.
* 6:30 PM *
After she turned off the alarm clock, she leaned her back to the chair and looked up in the ceiling. She raised her hand with the photo to see the picture once more.
"So was it another dream? A dream after dream? Mayor Alice Marie Guo... The first ever lady Mayor ng Bamban, now I can remember. Pero sino ka ba?"
She immediately remembered the scenario from the pool scene.
"Was that all a dream or imagination? Ikaw din ba yung Alice na nakilala ko dati?"
The door opened and it was Senator Loren who went inside her office without knocking. She saw Risa's position while looking into a printed picture.
"RIsa, ginagawa mo Dyan?"
"Ah wala naman, I'm just looking at Mayor Alice's photo."
"That Bamban Mayor na may issue sa POGO? Bakit Naman?"
RIsa sat down properly again from her seat and put Alice's photo aside.
"Wala naman, I was just wondering kung sino ba talaga sya and isa pa, how could a Chinese citizen run for being a politician here sa bansa natin? I mean, of course hindi pa tayo sure kung Chinese citizen ba talaga sya kaya we need more info for investigation. I don't know, I feel like there's something wrong."
"Well, kaya nga iimbistigahan natin sya diba? To study more about her background stats and to check if she's guilty with anything or not. Anyways, Tama na muna yan. I came here para magpa-alam na uuwi na ako, Ikaw ba? Sabay na tayo, hatid kita sa inyo."
"Sige sige, salamat. Liligpitin ko lang tong gamit ko, tas sunod nalang ako."
"Alright sige, I'll just warm up my car tas I'll meet you sa entrance gate okay?"
"Sige."
Risa packed her things and went to see Loren in the entrance. She went inside the car and Loren started to drive the car. The two were just discussing things in terms of different topics and cases. And while in the middle of the road, Risa said something that made Loren a little surprised.
"Thanks for driving me home Loren ah. I'm a little too tired na din, di ko namalayan na naka-idlip na din Pala ako sa office kanina."
"Ano ka ba, wala yun. Para namang di tayo mag kumare haha. Tsaka di rin naman na bago 'to diba?"
"Haha, you're right.."
