I entered the contest because I'd fallen in love with the graphics; I will display my graphics when I receive them.
Because I won some of the pretty graphics I'd salivated over. :)
The Romance category was full already by the time I'd got to the awards, and there was no Vampire or general Paranormal category - just Paranormal: Werewolf. So I entered Ancilla in Fantasy. It wasn't a perfect fit, but when your novel is a genre stew written in magical realism style, you shoehorn it wherever you can.
