Pov (Fluff) : A spell meant to grant immunity turns disastrous for Kai, leaving him on the brink of collapse. With Bonnie's expertise and Yn power their only hope, tensions rise and alliances are tested. In a race against time, they must confront the consequences of reckless magic and discover the true strength of their bonds.

I knocked on the door of the Salvatore boarding house and waited for someone to open it. Suddenly, I heard Damon yell, "Come in," so I entered the house.

As I walked in, I saw Kai and Damon on the couch, but something was off. Kai looked very pale.

"Damon, what the hell happened?" I shouted as I rushed to Kai's side. "What's wrong with him, and why is he so pale?"

"Ummmm, well, you see...." Damon began, trying to downplay the situation.

"Damon, I'm going to kill you if you don't tell me what's going on right now."

Damon sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Kai tried a spell that backfired. It's drained his energy, and he's not healing like he should be."

My heart raced as I turned back to Kai, his breathing shallow. "We need to do something, and fast," I said urgently. "Do you have any idea how to reverse it? And what damn spell?!"

Damon shrugged, looking uncharacteristically uncertain. "Ummmm, a spell to make me immune to vervain for 24 hours... ONLY BECAUSE I need to attend this event because Katherine is back, but they're giving everyone vervain bracelets at the entrance. I've been trying to figure it out, but magic isn't exactly my forte."

I took a deep breath, determination setting in. "You selfish fuck and Kai, you dumbass," I stopped and thought. "Call Bonnie, Damon. NOW!"

Damon hesitated for a moment before pulling out his phone and dialing Bonnie's number. "Yeah, Bonnie, we have a situation. Kai's spell backfired, and he's not looking good. Can you get over here ASAP?"

As we waited for Bonnie, I grabbed a blanket and draped it over Kai, trying to keep him warm. His condition seemed to worsen by the minute, and I couldn't shake the feeling of dread settling in. "Hang in there, Kai," I whispered, more to myself than to him.

A few tense minutes later, the front door burst open, and Bonnie rushed in, her expression a mix of worry and determination. "What happened?" she demanded, immediately assessing Kai's condition.

"Damon's brilliant idea of making himself immune to vervain," I explained, unable to hide the bitterness in my voice.

Bonnie rolled her eyes but quickly focused on Kai. "Okay, let's see what we can do, and im only doing this for Yn i still hateKai and im sytill mad at you Damon" she said, her hands already moving in intricate patterns as she began to chant a spell. The air around us seemed to hum with energy, and I could only hope that Bonnie could fix this mess before it was too late.

Bonnie's chanting grew more intense, and I grab onto her and and start to chant with her. His breathing seemed to stabilize, and some color returned to his cheeks. After a few minutes, Bonnie finally lowered her hands, looking exhausted but satisfied.

"We stabilized him for now, but he needs rest and more potent magical healing," she said, wiping sweat from her forehead. "I can't believe you, Damon. You could have killed him then Yn would have killed you then we would have another broblem on a hand aka ripper stefan"

Damon looked genuinely remorseful. "I know, I know. I just didn't think it would go so wrong."

Bonnie shot him a glare. "Well, next time, think. Now, we need to find a way to fully reverse the spell. I'll get my grimoire and see if there's anything in there that can help."

I nodded, grateful for Bonnie's intervention. "Thank you, Bonnie. I owe you."

She gave a tired smile. "No you dont I love you so Im helping you becuase your my friend"

As Bonnie left to get her grimoire, I stayed by Kai's side, holding his hand and hoping he would fully recover. Damon sat quietly, for once not having a snarky comment. It was a stark reminder of how fragile their lives could be, even with all the power they wielded.

Bonnie returned with her grimoire, leafing through the ancient pages with a determined look. I stayed close to Kai, his hand still in mine, while Damon paced nervously around the room. The tension was palpable, and I could feel my own anxiety rising with each passing second.

"Here it is," Bonnie finally said, stopping at a page. "There's a reversal spell, but it's going to take a lot of energy. I'll need your help to amplify the magic."

I nodded, willing to do whatever it took. "Just tell me what to do."

Bonnie handed me a crystal and instructed me to focus my energy into it while she chanted the spell. Damon, for once, stayed silent and watched, his expression a mix of guilt and hope.

As Bonnie began chanting, I concentrated on the crystal, feeling a warmth spread through my hands. The air around us shimmered with magical energy, and I could see a soft light enveloping Kai once more. His breathing steadied further, and the color returned to his cheeks.

Minutes passed, feeling like hours, as Bonnie continued the spell. Finally, with one last surge of energy, the light around Kai intensified and then faded, leaving him looking much healthier. Bonnie collapsed into a nearby chair, exhausted but relieved.

Kai's eyes fluttered open, and he looked around, confused. "What happened?"

I let out a breath I didn't realize I'd been holding. "You tried to help Damon with a spell, and it backfired. Bonnie just saved your life."

Kai groaned, sitting up slowly. "Remind me never to do that again."

Damon approached, his expression contrite. "Hey we had a deal so techinallcally this is yur falut for agreeing to it"

Kai waved a hand weakly. "I- Shut up"

"You two are dumbasses" I say getting up

I helped Kai to his feet, steadying him as he regained his balance. "Let's get you to bed. You need to rest."

As we headed upstairs, I glanced back at Damon and Bonnie. "Thank you, Bonnie. We couldn't have done this without you."

Damon gave a nod, and Bonnie managed a tired smile. "Just take care of him," she said.

Upstairs, I helped Kai into bed, tucking him in and making sure he was comfortable. "Get some sleep," I said softly.

Kai nodded, his eyes already closing. "Thanks for being here," he murmured.

"Always," I replied, giving him a kiss before laying next to him.

I stayed by his side all night, grateful that he was still with me. Many people thought of Kai as just evil, even after merging with his brother and gaining feelings. But he was more than that—misunderstood and complex. We were so much alike, and I loved him deeply.
