Pov: In Hogwarts' Slytherin House, Yn navigates playful banter and unexpected romance with Mattheo Riddle, leading to a spontaneous and thrilling night that changes their dynamic forever. (Fluff)

I'm walking through the hallways of Hogwarts on my way to the Slytherin common room. It's my first year here, and Mathheo Riddle has been bugging me, apparently because I'm the only new student who isn't scared of him due to his infamous parentage as Voldemort's son.

As I enter the common room, I see the infamous Slytherin group: Tom, Theodore, Blaise, my best friend Pansy, Draco, and the one and only Mathheo Riddle. I decide to mess with him.

"Oh look who it is, Ms. Backbone. Still not scared?" Mattheo says, smirking.

"Oh, so you want to play psycho killer?" I say, walking towards him. "Can I be the helpless victim?" I stand right in front of him.

He looks up at me with a mix of lust and curiosity, so I continue.

"Okay, let's see," I say, putting on a little scared act. "No, please don't kill me, Mr. Riddle. I want to be in the sequel!"

"You know what? I like you," Mattheo says, chuckling.

He leans back, his smirk widening as he takes in my act. The others in the room chuckle or roll their eyes, clearly entertained by our exchange.

"You've got guts," Mattheo says, his voice low and approving. "Most people just run the other way."

"I guess I'm not most people," I reply, meeting his gaze steadily.

Pansy laughs, nudging Draco. "I think we've found someone who can keep up with Riddle."

Draco smirks, nodding in agreement. "Looks like it."

Mattheo's eyes sparkle with amusement as he stands up, towering over me

Mattheo's eyes sparkle with amusement as he stands up, towering over me. "Alright, Ms. Backbone, let's see if you can keep this up."

"Bring it on, Riddle," I challenge, crossing my arms. "I'm not going anywhere."

Theodore chimes in, grinning. "This is going to be interesting."

Blaise nods, clearly intrigued. "Very interesting."

Mattheo gets up from his seat and steps closer, his presence intimidating but oddly thrilling. "So, Ms. Backbone, what are we going to do now?"

"Mhm, mess with you a little more, unless you have other plans, big bad Riddle."

"There's a party tonight at my place. Be there."

"Sure thing," I say, smiling.

Mattheo smirks, clearly pleased with my response. "Good. See you tonight, then."

-Timeskip-

As the evening approaches, I head back to my dorm to get ready. Pansy helps me pick out an outfit, and we chat excitedly about the party.

"You really got under his skin," Pansy says, grinning as she adjusts her earrings. "I think he likes it."

"Maybe," I reply, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. "But I'm not going to let him intimidate me."

By the time we arrive at the party, the common room is buzzing with energy. Music blares, and students are mingling, laughing, and having a good time. I spot Mattheo across the room, surrounded by his usual group, but his eyes lock onto mine as soon as I enter.

He makes his way over to me, a confident swagger in his step. "Glad you could make it," he says, his voice low.

"Wouldn't miss it," I reply, meeting his gaze.

We spend the evening talking and laughing, the initial tension between us melting away. I find myself genuinely enjoying his company, his sharp wit matching my own. As the night goes on, the party becomes more relaxed, and people start pairing off or drifting into smaller groups.

Eventually, Mattheo and I find ourselves outside on the balcony, the cool night air a welcome relief from the warmth inside. We lean against the railing, looking out over the grounds of Hogwarts.

"You know, you're different from anyone I've met here," Mattheo says, his tone more serious now.

"Is that a good thing?" I ask, glancing at him.

He smiles, a genuine smile that lights up his face. "Yeah, it is."

We fall into a comfortable silence, the sounds of the party fading into the background. It's a peaceful moment, and I feel a connection with him that I hadn't expected.

"Thanks for inviting me," I say softly. "I had a great time."

"Me too," he replies, his eyes meeting mine. "I'm glad you're not scared of me."

"Why would I be?" I shrug. "You're just Mattheo."

"Just Mattheo, huh?" He chuckles. "I like the sound of that."

As the night comes to a close, we head back inside, rejoining the others. The party winds down, and eventually, it's time to leave. Mattheo walks me to the door, his hand brushing against mine.

"Maybe tonight doesn't have to end, Riddle," I suggest, looking up at him with a playful smile.

"Mhm, what do you have in mind, Yn?" he asks, smirking but looking deeply into my eyes.

I pull him into a kiss, and after a while, he pulls away, breathless.

"Ooo, I like where this is going," he says, then picks me up as I let out a little squeal
