Kira's POV

Today's the day we face off against Zabuza and Haku. I know we'll emerge victorious, but I should also rescue them.

I need to replenish my chakra by drawing from Yuki to ensure everyone's safety.

We were heading back to Konoha, fully aware that we'd encounter the duo. Everyone stuck close together as we walked.

With no one to rescue or mission at hand, our sole objective was to return home, granting us the chance to engage in combat without the responsibility of safeguarding anyone.

...

After an hour's walk, we sensed a presence... "Get ready" Sensei whispered. Swiftly, we set aside our belongings and assumed fighting stances.

"Well, it seems we've crossed paths once more..." Zabuza emerged from the trees with a smirk, accompanied by Haku wearing his mask.

"And you, Uchida Kira. Our business isn't finished yet," he directed his gaze at me. I smirked.

In a flash, I appeared behind him, kicking him towards Kakashi Sensei, who unleashed his lightning jutsu, colliding with Zabuza.

To our surprise, he emerged unscathed and engaged in combat with Sensei while I offered support. Zabuza then seized me, his method unknown.

"Gotcha!" He exclaimed wickedly. "Shadow clone jutsu!" I heard Naruto's voice as he approached. Zabuza struggled against the clones, overwhelmed by their numbers. He hurled me, but Naruto caught me.

"Are you alright?" Naruto asked, concern evident in his eyes. "Yep! Thanks for the save, Naruto... you were quick," I praised him, eliciting a chuckle as he gently set me down.

Suddenly, Sakura's scream pierced the air. Oh no, Haku had captured them. However, Naruto and Sensei were preoccupied with Zabuza, oblivious to Sakura's distress.

Zabuza then kicked Naruto towards the Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals, drawing Naruto's attention as he dashed upon realizing Sasuke and Sakura's presence.

I sighed, foreseeing the unfolding events. Opting to remain by Sensei's side for the moment.

"I'd advise against gawking during a battle," Zabuza remarked, blowing his sword in my direction, swiftly caught and frozen by me. He clicked his tongue in response.

"Now... let's try this!" He bellowed, employing his Water Prison Technique, ensnaring me. Uh oh.

Trapped but composed, Kakashi Sensei's widened gaze conveyed his awareness of the impending danger, recalling his own entrapment in this jutsu during our previous encounter with Zabuza.
