Kira's POV

"Meow!" I heard Koko's meows, quickly opened my eyes, and found myself on a bed. This must be the hotel room.

Looking around, it was morning, and I was alone in this empty room.

"Koko, where did the others go?" I asked Koko as she ran into my arms. "Naruto and Jiraiya went to train, while I don't know where Shizune and Tsunade went, but they said it wouldn't take long. It's been almost 3 hours since everyone left," Kira told me with worry.

My eyes widened. "They must be fighting already!" I exclaimed, quickly getting out of bed but then feeling dizzy and falling to the ground.

I groaned in pain. "Kira! Are you okay?!" Koko yelled, licking my cheeks. "Koko, go and help them with their fight. I don't think I'm okay," I whispered, trying to take deep breaths before slowly standing up.

Still dizzy but managing not to fall, I heard Kabuto's voice smugly say, "Well, well, aren't you weak."

What? Why is he here?

"Don't overthink it. I'll deal with you first, then your friends," he said, pulling out a kunai.

"Koko, go!" I whispered as she quickly went out the window. Kabuto scoffed. "Letting your pet run away, how sweet," he said, sounding psychotic.

"Kabuto," I growled. "I despise guys like you!" I yelled, running towards him, landing a kick, but he retaliated by punching me in the stomach, sending me flying into the wall and spitting out blood.

Ugh, I felt so powerless, I couldn't even face him!

"You—" I tried to speak but was suddenly overwhelmed by a sharp pain piercing my heart, squeezing it tightly.

I gasped, clutching my chest, one hand on my heart, the other against the wall for support, struggling to remain upright.

Kabuto's sinister laughter filled the room. "Haha! You're as good as dead! And I'll enjoy watching you suffer," he sneered.

"How dare you—" I couldn't finish my sentence before collapsing to the ground, waves of agony coursing through my entire body, causing me to scream in torment.

"Aaaaa!" I cried out, tears welling up in my eyes from the excruciating pain. "I'll leave you here, but I'll lock you in so you can't seek help. Farewell," he declared, forming hand signs before departing.

As he vanished, the window slammed shut, and the sound of the door locking echoed in the room.

"No! I must survive! I haven't accomplished anything yet!" I whimpered through the pain. "I-I don't want to face death again..." I sobbed, the fear and pain overwhelming me.

I was stuck in the same spot for like an hour, and I could feel myself almost at my limit.

The pain was just too much, and suddenly, I sensed myself getting colder. I glanced at my hands, watching them slowly turn blue, frost creeping over my fingertips.
