Sakura's POV
I woke up with the sun blinding me, sat up with a groan, saw everyone still asleep. I thought of freshening up by the river where we camped.
After washing up, I planned to rouse Kira first, so she could prepare before the guys woke.
When I got to her spot, she was nowhere to be found. "Where could she be?" I muttered, searching frantically. With no luck, I decided to wake the others.
"Guys! Get up! We've got a situation" I shouted, causing them to rise, ready for action but still half-asleep.
"What's up, Sakura?" Sensei inquired, relieved there was no danger. "Kira's gone missing!" I replied, feeling anxious.
They tensed as they grasped my words. Naruto took the lead in the search.
After 15 minutes of fruitless searching, we returned to camp. "Where could she have gone?!" Naruto fretted. Her sleeping bag was tidy, but there seemed to be something beneath it.
"Hmm, did she leave a note for us or something?" I whispered taking off the blanket.
I removed the cover, revealing a young girl with white hair snuggled up to Kira's cat.
Could it be...?
"Guys, come see this!" I shouted, drawing them over to witness the sight. "Is this...?" Naruto questioned. The girl stirred, slowly opening her eyes to reveal Kira's distinct eye color.
As she turned to face us, she let out a startled yelp. Could this really be Kira?
"Who are you, little one?" Sensei asked gently, trying not to frighten her. "M-my name is U-Uchida Kira, I'm f-five years old," she stuttered but managed to reply.
I couldn't help but coo at the unexpected turn of events; she was undeniably adorable!
"So, this is the aftermath of the full moon night," Sasuke sighed.
"She's adorable!" I exclaimed, earning nods of agreement from the others. "Let's freshen up and hit the road," Sensei suggested, prompting the boys to agree.
Noticing Kira trembling, I asked, "Kira, are you okay?" Her response startled me, "W-who are all of you?" Oh no, she had lost her memory of us as well.
With a sigh, I introduced myself softly, "I'm Haruno Sakura, and I'm on your team." "What team?" she inquired, her voice steadier now.
