Kira's POV
I woke up and found myself in the hospital bed, taking in the surroundings. Glancing out the window, I realized it was still dark outside, making me realize I hadn't slept much. "Seems like I didn't take a lot of time" I muttered to myself.
Suddenly, the Hokage's voice filled the room, "Yes, you had only slept for two hours". I turned to see him standing at the door, looking fully recovered and with a warm smile. "Hokage-sama!" I exclaimed, surprised by his presence.
He walked over and sat beside my bed, asking how I was feeling. With a smile, I replied, "I believe I'm healed now," to which he returned the smile, expressing his relief. "I'm glad to hear that," he responded warmly.
"What brings you here, Lord Third?" I inquired with curiosity. "Well, the main reason is to check on you," he replied, causing a smile to spread across my face.
"Hokage-sama," Kakashi-sensei entered the room and addressed the Third Hokage. "I have a request for you kakashi, but before that, Kira, I want to express my gratitude for saving my life and for entrusting Kakashi to protect my people—"
"—Your insight was invaluable as there were many ninjas attempting to harm them. Thank you; it's an honor to have you as a ninja in our village," the Third Hokage said, bowing slightly in respect, prompting Kakashi-sensei to bow deeply in acknowledgment as well.
"A-Ah, please, stop. It's embarrassing!" I stammered, covering my face, causing the Third Hokage to straighten up and let out a chuckle at my reaction. Kakashi also stood up tall, flashing his usual eye smile in response.
"Alright, now, for the important part. Kira, you really used your power well, didn't you?" I nodded in agreement. "In the match and battle with Orochimaru," I confirmed.
"Your heart hasn't shown any side effects yet, but I fear there might be a significant one. That's why I want you to depart with Jiraiya and Naruto tomorrow." I nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation.
"Is it to seek Tsunade-sama to appoint her as the Fifth Hokage, am I right?" I questioned, observing a hint of surprise in his expression, followed by a nod of confirmation.
"I know she has the ability to heal you; she has treated many with critical conditions before," I exclaimed with hope, my eyes sparkling as I nodded eagerly.
"However, remember, if you use your powers once more, it could be the end for you," he cautioned with a serious yet concerned tone, to which I promptly nodded in understanding.
"Kakashi, go find Jiraiya for me. I must have a word with him," Lord Third instructed Kakashi, who promptly nodded with a bow before departing.
"Can I ask you something?" Lord Third began, to which I nodded in response. "I feel the need to disclose your story to Jiraiya. Would you be okay with that?" he inquired, prompting me to gaze at him thoughtfully for a moment.
