Song of the chapter: All My Heart - Sleeping with Sirens {♡}

- Andy's POV -

Vic and I tried to keep up with Fiona and Ronni, but oh God those girls didn't know when to stop. Finally, we were all back together again because the light turned green before they could go any further. I stopped a few steps behind them and put one foot on the skateboard to prevent it from sliding out into traffic.

"Guys where are we going?" I asked, but it sounded more like a whine. Fiona and Ronni once again exchanged a look and Ronni looked at Vic.

"You didn't tell him?" Fiona asked looking at Vic.

"Guys it's supposed to be a surprise for a reason." Vic said. Ronni shrugged as the light turned red and they were off once again.

After what felt like forever we arrived at a cafe. Fiona and Ronni obviously got there before us so they were sitting on the curb waiting.

"Are you ready?" Ronni asked as we approached them. Vic nodded and they went in, leaving Fiona and I outside.

"It's now or never." she said as she put out her cigarette. When I realized, I have not had a cigarette in two weeks. A new record for me. "C'mon lets go in." she said as she reached for the door. We walked inside the chilly cafe, we saw Ronni at a table but no sign of Vic. The cafe was pretty full, there were people at almost every table. I looked around to see if I could find Vic, I did. Eventually. There was a small platform type of stage set up in the front of the cafe. He sat at a stool with a guitar in hand, he looked at the crowd eagerly. Once he spotted me he gave me a wink. He likes to wink too, Jesus Christ. Fiona tapped my shoulder and motioned to follow her to the table where Ronni was sitting down. I followed and sat down awkwardly.

"Um, what's the surprise?" I asked them.

"Might as well tell him now that he's here anyways." Fiona said.

"Vic wanted to sing for you, but he didn't wanna do it alone with you because he's nervous that way and works better in a social environment. He also performs here with the rest of the band often but that's different." Ronni said as she drank from her tea. I didn't know what to say. I was ecstatic. My heart was beating so fast I thought it'd pop out of my chest.

"Hey there New York!" Vic said into the microphone. The crowd cheered and applauded for him. "Today I'll be singing an acoustic version of my newest song Falling Asleep On A Stranger." Once again the crowd filled with excitement, Vic started strumming the guitar softly at first, then the crowd quieted down. I was so excited I could hardly contain myslef from running up there and kissing him. The gay in you is starting to show goddamn it Andy, I thought.

"Well, you know that I'm cold black on constellations gold, and you know that your soul's black top under lacing won't let it go. It was all for you, all for you and more. He won't chase him anymore." Vic sung, his voice was beautiful.

"To the end, never leave fall asleep on the first I face, and they say play the game.You and me found love, lost under the shade. Well, you know I'm a ghost. Pull the note out of my throat, and leave me alone, but it's all for you, all for you and more he won't take him anymore.." Vic sang on as he strummed on the guitar.

All too soon, the song ended. It was the best thing I've ever heard. Everyone applauded and cheered as Vic said a quick 'thank you', and walked off the platform. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face, Vic walked over to our table also with a goofy smile, "Well?" he asked us.

"You never cease to impress me Mr. Fuentes. That was one of the best things I've ever heard." I said shyly.

"Thanks Andy. Guys?" he said as he looked at Fiona and Ronni.
