Song of the Chapter; Lane Boy - twenty øne piløts {♡}

**SMUT WARNING: LATER IN THIS CHAPTER**

- Andy's POV -

"ANNOUNCEMENT-SCHOOL IS CANCELLED DUE TO OFF CAMPUS STUDENTS AND TEACHERS UNABLE TO MAKE IT ON CAMPUS SAFELY. BREAKFAST WILL STILL BE SERVED IN THE CAFETERIA." the speakers blared, I was confused for a bit.

Fuck, what time is it? was the first thing that came to mind. I grabbed my phone and checked, the brightness making me flinch, it was seven in the morning.

Why is this announcement so early? Oh well. Nothing I could do. I looked over at Gerard who was still asleep in his bed, lucky. I sat up and yawned, the room was dimly lit and I figured no one would be up. I stood up and went over to my drawers, I looked for some pants and then realized I had not unpacked most of my suitcases. I chuckled and pulled them on the bed, I opened one which was full of clothes, I put most of them away, leaving some out for me to wear.

I was almost done when Gerard woke up, he yawned and sat up. "Hey," he muttered.

"Hey yourself,"

"What are ya doing? It's so early." he asked.

"Unpacking, schools cancelled." I replied.

"Mmm, figured." he said as he stood up and went over to his own drawers. "Well.. today's the day, grab your hamper, we're doing laundry."

"Isn't it covered in snow outside?" I asked.

"Yeah, but they clear the trail to the laundry room and exits of the school really early in the morning so we're good. Just wear shoes that won't soak up water."

"Okay, I'll be ready in a bit." I said as I put away some shirts. I put on some pants and a coat, then combat boots and started looking for spare change. I gathered all my dirty clothes and basically I was ready. I looked over at Gerard who was now ready too and we left.

"Do you have your key?" I asked when I realized I'd forgotten mine. Gerard nodded and stopped by Frank's room. He knocked and the door was swung open by a sleepy Frank.

"Hey," he said, "what's up?"

"Just wanted to tell you I'm going to the laundry room with Andy, in case you didn't find me in the room." Gerard said, he kissed Frank on the cheek and smiled.

"If Vic wakes up can you tell him the same?" I asked.

"Sure," he told me, "later baby." he said to Gerard and closed the door. We walked down the steps and out the back door to the trail. I braced myself for the cold wind and it was freezing, worse than last night.

"It's so cold, I hate this." Gerard said as we walked down a path to a plain bricked building. As we walked in we were greeted with warm air, never have I felt so relieved.

"Well, you know how to do laundry right?" Gerard asked.

"Yeah, I just didn't know where to. Where do you get detergent and stuff?"

"There's vending machine type things that give you detergent and fabric softener over there," Gerard said and pointed to a corner where sure enough were these vending machine looking things but instead of holding snacks there was all types of soaps and stuff like that.

"Okay, thanks." I said. I went over to an empty washing machine and started putting some clothes inside. I did the same to another one with the lighter clothes. I went over to the vending machine and bought some soap. I smiled, the idea of buying soap out of a vending machine was funny to me for some reason.
