Yuna's POV

"Oh come on you know that-."

"Just shut up Soobin," I rolled my eyes.

"This is exactly why I never date college freshmen," he scoffed. "Because of girls like you."

"So now you're offended that I don't want to stay with you despite you cheating on me?" I laughed dryly. "Whatever."

"Yuna where are you going?" He watched me pack my things.

"I'm hiking home," I glared at him. "I'm not sharing a tent with an asshole like you."

"Yuna!" He called. "Yuna come on!"

I left the camp sight, stomping my feet as I walked along the trail. I hugged myself and shuddered a bit from the breeze.

My ears took in the soft whimpering making me look to my right. I saw a wolf, black in color with a white diamond shape on its head.

I felt my heart beginning to race. Should I help it?

"What to do?" I whispered.

I looked around before slowly walking to the animal. I knew a wolf in general was big but this one is huge.

My hand reached out and I gently put my hand onto his side. The wolf perked its head up before looking right at me.

I gulped, seeing its fierce eyes.

"H-Hi," I whispered.

Its ears pinned back, showing me signs of friendliness. It leaned towards me and sniffed my face.

"I heard you whimpering," I stroked the fur. "Want some help?"

The wolf licked my face a little before trying to sit up. It fell back to the ground, whimpering and holding its foot up.

I picked up the foot gently, looking at it. I saw a deep cut making me a little queasy.

"Okay," I got out of my first kit. "I'm lucky Yeji taught me to wrap a dog's leg."

The wolf watched me, its ears perking up when a wrapper crunched in my bag. I giggled a little before grabbing the snack as well.

"I'm gonna call you Shadow," I whispered. "You like that?"

The wolf yipped happily. I opened the bag, feeding some of the snack to it. The wolf was surprisingly gentle.

I set the bag aside and began to clean up the wound. My hands grabbed some cleaning wipes, gingerly pressing them to the wound.

The wolf growled a little, bearing its teeth.

"It's okay," I stroked the fur. "It'll feel better in a minute."

I grabbed some gauze and wrapped the wound before finishing it off with some tape. I cleaned up my trash.

"All better," I smiled.

The wolf slowly got up, its legs shaking a bit before it licked my face. I giggled a little then offered the rest of the snack.

"Take it," I whispered. "I have no use for it."

The wolf took the snack, eating it quickly. After it finished the animal looked to me. My brows furrowed seeing its eyes glowing pink.

"H-Hey," I stood up as it ran off. "What.....what was that?"

"Of course he told you," Yeji sighed. "He isolated you, told you the truth about him and that girl, then expected everything to be okay."
