Y/n's POV

I reached over, shutting my alarm off. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I got out of bed before taking a shower.

My heart ached as I sat at my table and ate some breakfast. I scrolled through the numerous messages left from the girls.

Julie has l called me nearly fifteen times a day and sent dozens of messages. Belle was the same but she wasn't as adamant.

I put my phone down and glanced at my mark. I saw it hard turned completely blue. I then focus d on the scratches, grimacing at the actions that caused it to appear this way.

I've been trying to scrub it off, not wanting to be reminded of the heartache. It's pointless but I scrub so hard sometimes.

And it makes me forget about my heartbreak by bringing me a different pain. I cleaned up my breakfast, sighing as I barely ate half of it.

I went to my front door, getting my shoes and coat on. My feet quickly carried me to my workplace. I clocked in then put on my name tag.

"Hey Kang," my boss smiled. "How are you feeling today?"

"Better sir," I faked a smile back. "Is that my stock to put out on the shelves?"

"Yeah," he stepped aside. "If you need any help, I'm here. It's been slow today so I sent Youngah home early."

"Yes sir," I nodded.

It seemed like the boxes were never ending but I guess it means we sold a lot of these items. I picked up another box, carrying it out to the front of the store.

I set it down, cutting open the tape. I kneeled down and put the product onto the shelves.

"This must be new," I looked at the packaging.

I stood up before taking it to the front.

"New item?" My boss fixed his glasses.

"I think so," I nodded.

He took it from me, trying to scan it. The code came back as an error.

"I'll put it in and let you put it up later," he hummed.

I walked back to my area, continuing to put the product on the shelf. I broke down the box and went to grab another.

The door chimed making it known there was a customer.

"Welcome," my boss cheerfully spoke.

"Thank you," I heard someone respond.

I crouched to the floor, opening my new box. I heard foot steps come around the corner.

"Excuse me?" I looked up seeing a familiar set of eyes.

"What can I help you with?" I asked respectfully.

"Well for starters you could answer my calls," the girl removed her mask. "Why are you ignoring me?"

"You promised not to tell her," I whispered. "Julie Noona, I need to get back to work."

"D-Don't do that," her voice waivered. "Don't shut me out like this."

"Did you need help finding anything?" I went back to my customer service voice.
