Odysseus turned to look at you, He looked like he was holding back tears as he looked back at the baby.
"Is the price i pay endless pain?"
He closed Astyanax's eyes with his hands but Astyanax opened them again and giggled.
"Close your eyes and spare yourself the view.."
"How could he hurt you?"
It seemed that you were talking to Astyanax, Odysseus looked like he wanted to justify his actions while you were questioning it.
"Y/n..I'm just a man who is trying to go home!"
He then looked at the sky while tears started to fall down his face.

"Well...you're just a man Odysseus"
His gaze shifted towards you a small smile forming.
"Didn't take you for a sympathetic person'"
"You should be more like Polites so i can sympathize with you mister 'just a man'"
He rolled his eyes at your words but his smile faded as he remembered the situation he was still in and sighed.
"I'm just a man..who is fighting for his life"
