Chapter 9(⁠☞ﾟ⁠∀ﾟ⁠)⁠☞

Kanade pov

There's no way...how could his parents just give his only sister away?

It was so strange as well, why did the Shinonomes take her? There must be a reason.

"Oh my god that is terrible," Mafuyu said while going over to him.

I followed him slowly and was on the opposite side of Tsukasa.

"Hey it's okay, you can cry. This is a safe space."

He looked over at me and gave me a weak smile.

"Man, I wonder how I ended up with amazing people like you guys." He said through his tears.

"Do you want to stay at my kingdom? We have plenty of space and I can cover for you," I asked.

He looked at me and looked back at Rui.

"Can Rui come over here as well? Not to stay but just visit."

"Of course."

All of a sudden a knight came into the room. However, the knight didn't have the uniform that mine did.

They wore purplish-blackish armor along with some sort of funnel sword.

That meant they were from the Asahina kingdom.

What was a knight from Mafuyu's kingdom doing here?

"Mafuyu?"

I suddenly heard behind the knight.

"Mom? What are you doing here?" Mafuyu asked.

I quickly went over to Rui and stood in front of him attempting to hide him. (Rui is now crouching cause Kanade is so fucking short)

He wasn't really supposed to be in my kingdom and it would make things with our treaties worse.

"I just wanted to check up on my son, is something the matter?" She asked while coming closer to the room.

She looked at Mafuyu's side and spotted Tsukasa.

"What...what are you doing next to that horrible prince?"

I stood there shocked.

Horrible? If anyone was horrible it should be his parents.

"I'm sorry Queen Asahina, but may I ask why you have decided to come into my kingdom? It just seems very unprofessional and so I assume something must have happened."

She quickly grabbed Mafuyu's hand and dragged her away from me and Tsukasa.

"How could you welcome that boy into your kingdom? He is a traitor to his own parents!"

"No, he is not!" Mafuyu yelled.

"Mafuyu...you DARE to question me?"

Mafuyu suddenly shrank at his mother's harsh tone and quietly apologized.

"I'm sorry Mafuyu, but that boy is extremely dangerous! Whatever he told you isn't true, I have actually seen what had happened because I was there! You believe me don't you?"

His mom held onto his hands waiting for an answer.

Mafuyu hesitated not really knowing what to say.

"What do you mean he's lying...? You wouldn't lie, right Tsukasa?" He asked turning to his side.

Before he could respond his mother butted in.

"No mafuyu! Do not trust what he says, it is obvious he will lie to you! Please just trust me, I have always known what was best for you, right?"

Mafuyu slowly nodded his head. And turned to his mom.

"But if he is lying, what did happen?"

His mom grinned and responded

"I will explain to you when we get back to the kingdom. I just cannot believe how Yoisaki over here invited that boy as a guest to his own kingdom."

Mafuyu turned towards me and gave me a look of disgust.

"I can't believe I was considering becoming close with you at all."

He then walked with his mother out of the kingdom.

I stood there unable to comprehend what had just happened.

My only chance of a new music partner is gone.

And there was just this sinking feeling in my chest...like I had lost a part of me.

That's when I realized,

That I loved him.

I loved him so much that it had totally shattered me into pieces.

I don't know if he was ever going to come back.

I don't know if I could go on knowing that the one I had loved so much is now torn apart from me because of his mother.

His mother is a bitch.

That-That MOTHERFUCKING BITCH.

SHE JUST TOOK THE ONLY PERSON THAT I HAD EVER LOVED AFTER MY PARENTS.

She is not going to ever get away with this.

"Tsukasa...I swear on my life to save your sister and to get the person I cherish so much back."

Rui stopped crouching once he confirmed it was safe.

They both went over to my side and nodded their heads.

"But first, we're going to need an army...not just any army. We are going to go to the Hinomoris (is that how you spell it??) first because I'm sure their younger daughter would do anything to get Saki back.

I'm sure her sister would follow her as well."

Toya, who was forgotten in a corner came out and said, "I know he seems like a horrible choice as of right now, but I can try to convince Akito..."

Tsukasa looked at his way and said "I also think that it is a good idea to try. When he came to the castle he clearly seemed uncomfortable."

"We should also go get Honami, she no doubt will help us," I said.

On this day, we have officially gained two new members of our kingdom.

Tsukasa Tenma and Rui Kamishiro.
