CHAPTER 8 (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

Tsukasa pov. (WOAH A NEW POV??)

After that night of sneaking around, I realized it would probably be best for me to law low for now. I don't need my parents wondering where I am.

Not sure if they would approve of me sneaking off at night.

I should visit Saki today! And put on a show for her just like in the good old days. I just gotta hope she's awake first.

I, Tsukasa Tenma, am making my way to my sister Saki. I'm sure she will be excited to see me again!

As I was walking down I noticed something unusual.

Isn't that the carriage that belongs to the shinonomes? (Not sure if I spelled it right😭)

What are they doing here?

Maybe before I check it out I should go to Saki first. I quickly ran over to her room and crashed in with a loud thud.

"SAKIIII!"

"Saki?"

Next to Saki stood my parents. And next to my parents was Akito and his parents.

"Shinonome-kun?" He looked up from where he was looking and we made eye contact.

"Tenma-kun, I'm sorry for the abrupt visit but we are here to take Saki with us. Your parents decided that she was making your kingdom...weaker."

I stood there mouth agape.

"W-what? NO THIS CAN'T BE!? MOM, DAD? WHAT DOES HE MEAN SHE MAKING OUR KINGDOM WEAK? SHE IS YOUR DAUGHTER AND MY SISTER!"

"Tsukasa, you do not get a say in this. I am sick and tired of dealing with her burden, if you even think about retaliating then we will execute her."

Why...this was so out of pocket. My parents have always loved her more than me! That's why she was always pampered. I don't get it.

Why did they suddenly change?

"I HATE YOU, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU! I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE RIGHT NOW!"

I ran. I ran as fast as I could. I wanted to get out of this kingdom even if my life was on the line.

As soon as I escape this hell hole I am going to do anything it takes to get Saki back.

Even if it means killing anyone.

Time skip to an hour later

After escaping the kingdom's premises I ran to the forest. There was a special person over there who would help me no doubt.

Walking around the forest I had memorized the path to his small cottage.

I spotted the smoke coming out of the chimney and walked up to the door.

*Knock*

The door slowly opened revealing Rui Kamishiro.

"Fufu Tsukasa, what a surprise! What brings you over here?"

Rui pov.

I looked up at the blonde boy and noticed tears cascading down his face.

"Tsukasa, before you come in I need you to answer me. Why are you crying?"

I swear I'm going to punch a hole right through the person who did this to him.

"M-my parents gave Saki away to Shinonome-kun and threatened to execute her if I did anything. My first thought was to come here..."

I quickly welcomed him inside and hugged him.

"It's going to be okay...I will make sure they will pay the price."

As he sobbed into my shoulder I started to think.

His entire life his parents always favored his sister over him. Why did they give her away?

"Do you know any reason why they gave her away?" I asked.

"Something about power..." He mumbled

Of course, always wanting more power. I honestly find people who seek that stupid.

Well, I obviously cannot go against two kingdoms entirely by myself.

So I'm going to need some help.

"Tsukasa, do you know anyone who might be willing to help you?"

He froze to think and then nodded his head.

"We can ask Kanade."

Kanade pov.

As I was looking for Mafuyu I found him inside the room where I had played the piano for him.

"Mafuyu?"

He turned his head and looked at me.

"Hello Kanade, I was expecting you to be here, do you want to head over to your room now?" He asked.

"Sure, let's go."

With a slight blush, I held out my hand to him and he took it.

We slowly walked towards our room until Toya ran up to me and yelled

"KANADE, YOU HAVE TO GET OVER HERE NOW! MAFUYU IS THAT YOU? IF SO PLEASE FOLLOW THE SAME INSTRUCTIONS I GAVE KANADE!"

Toya doesn't yell that loud unless something important really comes up.

I clenched Mafuyu's hand and we both ran as fast as we could to see what was the matter.

We ran over to Toya and he opened the door revealing Tsukasa and Rui.

"Tsukasa, Rui, what happened? What are you two doing here in the middle of the day? And most importantly why is Tsukasa crying?"
