Motive.

Motive is the start of many different things. Whether it's good or bad, it can cause a ripple effect on anything.

Another thing that remains a mystery for us is what that reason is.

Why is Mafuyu's mom lying to her? Why are the Tenma's giving away Saki? What do the Shinonomes have to do with this? Not to mention all of the side stories as well.

Fantasy creatures, wizards, knights, royalty.

They all have motives.

If it's not a motive, then it is manipulation or blackmail.

And that so happens to be the problem here.

The Tenma's are unaware of our knowledge of Saki.

We are unsure of what made them give her away.

But we will find out, and make them suffer for it. (For Shiho of course🦅🦅🦅)

We had already made our journey back to Yoisaki's kingdom; the poor boy had to run an entire kingdom by himself in just a year.

I had offered to ride in a baggage car with one of us driving the horses so we could travel comfortably, more organized, and safer.

Yoisaki decided to drive because he has had the most practice when it comes to this.

At least that's what Mochizuki said. (Ty to that one person who told me her last name was spelled 'mochi' and 'zuki')

As I zoned back into reality the first thing I noticed was the constant eye contact of everyone.

It seemed as if everybody was in pairs, Tsukasa with the purple-haired guy, Shiho with the brown-haired one, and Yoisaki and Mizuki catching up on every event going on.

I'm just stuck here with my thoughts.

"Hey, Shizuku~ Why don't you sit next to me? Then we can both talk to Kanade!" Mizuki yelled out.

I lifted my head, and while smiling, I said, "Thank you for the offer; I would gladly sit next to you."

I stood up, grabbed my bag in the process, and sat next to Mizuki.

"What's your plan with the Tenma's?" Asked Kanade once I settled in my seat.

"Well, I plan on not being very straightforward with it, because of the dire situation."

"So, for example, you just ask to see Saki, and they will be forced to answer you?"

"Precisely, I'll make sure to ask what they have done to her as well."

"I'm not sure guys, y'know they can lie too." Mizuki brought up.

"Well, if that happens, then I might get more specific; let's think more simply right now."

The baggage car suddenly came to a stop and only I exited from it.

"Wish me luck," I said in a sarcastically hopeful manner.

"You won't need it, I'm sure you will succeed," Shiho encouraged.

I gave a weak smile and walked through the path to the palace.
