Before I start I just feel like letting y'all know but I'm going to start sharing this account with my cousin because her account doesn't work for Wattpad, so if you see me comment or post stupid shit that's not me

Kanade pov

The sun started to shine all throughout the castle. Needless to say, it was very bright. It was the bright light that made me wake up as well.

I wanted to just go back to sleep, but after remembering my schedule I crawled out of bed and went to dress.

(After dressing cause I'm lazy)

I started to walk down the hallway that led to the dining room. That is until I remembered what had happened last night.

Oh my god.

I really did, didn't I?

Does Mafuyu like my music? I really hope he does. If he does that gives me more of a reason to keep on composing.

I started to impatiently tap the small red gem that was in my outfit. Should I just ask him?

"Good morning sir Kanade."

I hear right in front of me. I saw Toya and then gave a small smile.

"Good morning to you as well."

He went beside me and started to talk about the next meeting with the Tenmas.

You see, a while ago we were all in a huge war. I don't exactly know what caused it but in general, it caused a ton of destruction and trust issues.

Even though the war isn't as bad anymore there's still a bit of paranoia(BUG REFF?!?) going around. Like how some other kingdoms are having border problems.

After my parents died in the war our kingdom remained neutral. But now it was going to be time to step up to responsibilities.

"Oh and by the way, Mafuyu is waiting at the dining table for you," Toya mentioned.

"Alright, thank you for your service, you may go now," I responded as I opened the doors.

He nodded his head and walked towards the end of the hall.

I think back to yesterday and my selfish thoughts. (Might wanna reread the first 4[I think] paragraphs in chapter 1)

Of course! How could I have been so foolish? I didn't save them because Toya was the other person.

And I don't know what I would be doing without him. Thanks to him we were able to save the kingdom from crumbling down.

Thanks to him I was able to cope with the loss of my parents. Thanks to him I was able to make many new allies.

Thanks to him. My parents really are the best for giving me someone like him.

If only I could be more like him.

"Hey Kanade, are you okay?" Mafuyu asked

"Hmm, yeah just fine. I was just thinking about stuff."

"If you say so."

I took a seat next to him and started to eat my breakfast.

And there we were, just eating in pure silence.

"Hey, uh, I really liked your song last night," Mafuyu said breaking the thick atmosphere.

"Really? Do you mean it?" I asked reassuringly.

"Yes, I do"

"Well, I have more if you want to come over to my room after practice." I offered.

His eyes seemed to light up as he nodded excitingly accepting the offer.

"Alright gentlemen, it's time for practice!" Honami said barging in with our swords.

I slowly stood up to grab my sword and headed out to the training area with Mafuyu following behind me.

Practice was over and now I was trying to cool myself down in the castle's garden.

Since Mafuyu will be heading towards my room soon I should try to find him.

I stood up now pacing around the castle trying to look for one guy.

Man, this is going to be hard.
