Continuing from the last chapter
Tsukasa pov.
Kanade went on over to inform Honami of the events of what had happened. Just like us all she was confused and horrified. She knew Saki almost as well as I did.
She agreed to come with us, no doubt; she was determined to get Saki back.
"Okay, before we set off we're going to need some supplies, and I'm going to need someone to take my place as the prince for now."
"I can take your place; I'll just invite Akito over to your kingdom if that's okay with you," Toya said.
Kanade gave a small smile before saying, "Thank you, Toya; of course, you may invite him."
It only took a couple of minutes to get everything onto the horses.
Kanade wanted to make sure we were well stocked so she made sure every single horse had an appropriate amount of supplies for both us and the hinomoris.
"Hey, Tsukasa?"
I turned my way to face Rui.
"Yes, what is it?" I asked him
"How do you know if you can trust him? I mean like, if he didn't really want to take your sister, shouldn't he have retaliated? I just think that it's not very (skibidi) practical for him to just get on with his day..."
"I'm sure he tried his best, he would never do something as cruel as that, I'm sure of it!"
I slowly get into the horse and say
"He may seem heartless but you just gotta look closely."
Rui sent me a small smile as if he was taking my words and considering them.
Then he hopped onto my horse with me.
"All right Kanade, we're all set!" I yell at him while directing my horse towards him and Honami.
"Me and Honami will be on separate horses because on the journey back we are going to share a horse while the siblings will go in the same one."
He explained climbing onto his horse.
"Now, shall we head over to their kingdom?"

The forest is full of mysteries and pretty unpredictable if you don't live there.
Thankfully, Rui was with us, so we didn't have to worry much about it.
"Say, wanna hear a couple of stories about this forest while we are making our way to the kingdom?" He asked.
"Do anything you would like, as long as our trip is not delayed," Kanade replied.
"When living in the woods you meet many more creatures, not just scourers like me. I've seen my fair share of fairies for example. It's crazy to think that such a creature still exists in a world like this."
Rui took a breath before continuing.
"On a certain day, however, I had met quite a peculiar fairy. She was not like the others at all. Her wings were slightly bigger and she was much more talkative than the rest.
Almost like she was human.
She had brown hair along with brown eyes, I observed her from afar and had made many reports on this strange fairy.
I was certain it was no mutation, for none of the other fairies in the area had any correlation with her.
One day I decided to try and attempt a conversation with it.
It is most certainly a conversation I will never forget.
She had told me her family had sent her there to be cursed, that's why she was far more different from others.
Why was she cursed? She didn't remember.
She could not remember a thing other than her family leaving her here.
Such a tragic story and I could not do a thing to help; I had no idea what the curse was, so finding a cure would be almost impossible.
She had quickly adapted to her new life and befriended the others, so now she lives happily but sometimes she comes up to me telling me she feels a part of her missing.
As if she still had a connection to her original body."
"That's a very interesting story, Rui. Did you ever get her name?"
Kanade questioned
"Yes I, actually, did
Her name is Ena Shinonome.
